Placements: Placement are good in electrical here. Students get to choose between core, non-core, consultancy, research etc. As per their interests. Average salary package is good and obviously greater than other colleges of India. Placements: In IIT Kanpur, Placements statistics are very good. After CSE branch, Students of Mathematics branch are getting the highest salary. Many of the student in mathematics department who have interest in mathematics will go for research. Almost everyone got placed in good companies. They got placements in companies like EXL, Capital One, etc. The MS students even get more jobs. The students go to different areas.
