I am totally satsfied by the infrastructure, student communication and relationship with seniors.

Placements: The placement over here is good as compared to other colleges in India. If you have an interest in coding and learning new things, then it is a good opportunity to get here and grab the best job. It depends upon your zeal and knowledge and practical skills. Companies like Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Tower, Schlumberger, ITC, etc come here to give you high packages.

Great college with a lot to learn. Best placements and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements have been in accordance with the last few years. The first half of the batch got placed within 15 days with average CTC of 8 LPA, but the rest of the batch had to go on till the end of the graduation to secure a job. Most of the roles offered were in the Software segment as well as data analysts. Around 90% of the students went for internships either abroad or in different companies to gain experience.

Beautiful college, top-notch facilities, amazing experience.

Placements: Placement is superb for several branches and particularly for computer science graduates and electrical graduates, for different branches, it is pretty good too. By the tip of the placement season, around 100 percent of the undergraduate students do get placed at some of the top companies of India. For postgraduate students, placements rely on the work of the sector and rely on the task structure. Students go for further work or research in their core or specialization. An unforgettable journey of perfection.

Placements: Placements have always been good at IIT Kanpur. More than 80% students get placed during the first phase of placement season. The average salary is between 12-20 lakhs per annum while the highest salary crosses 1 crore(but that is only in the CSE department). The internship opportunities are also a plenty. In our batch of 820 students, more than 600 people bagged the internship(research/technical) through the campus placement cell. The monthly stipend for the internship ranges from 10,000 to 2la...

Placements: The placements were okay. There has been a decrease in the number of offers by the companies over the years. Around 70% of the ME students who sat in the placements were placed. The highest salary offered was around 50 lakhs, the lowest was about 5 lakhs and the average salary was around 12 lakhs. Heaven of Knowledge serving at its best.

Placements: First of all, I would like to talk about the internship. More than half of the students got the internship till the end of April either through the campus or in academic research. If you are from the CSE department then mostly, you will get selected. Companies mainly look for coders. So I would suggest doing competitive coding. Some startups are also involved where you can easily get selected if you are into development. The stipend varies from 10,000 to 200,000. However, you should not look at ...

Placements: Placements were a bit down this year, which was also a common trend in other colleges too. But, overall, if you are in computer science and electrical, you will definitely get placed and the average package for CSE is around 20 LPA. But for other branches, students with a higher CGPA and extra-curricular activities play a major role. But anyway, the average package for other streams was around 10 LPA. Around 80% students got placed this season and around 50% got an internship from the placemen...

Really great in all aspects - placement, teaching, infrastructure and course curriculum.

Placements: Placements were a little bit lower in 2016 as compared to the previous batch but nonetheless, a majority percentage got placed [about 90% or so]. The rest 10% too chose to wait for higher packages [not that they were not given placement offer but they wanted better]. Institute policy prohibits the official release of placement data - Highest, lowest or average. So, all the figures are based on hearsay. Institute highest [as heard] was 1.5 crore/annum [offered to two students]. The lowest is n...

Placements: Less than 50% students got selected in internships and more than 80% students have got job in campus selection. The highest salary is about 1.5 crores from CSE. A lot of companies visited the campus for recruitment. The average package offered would have been somewhere around 10 LPA.

IIT Kanpur - The heaven for research in India.

Placements: The placements this year were little lesser than the previous one. Although the top packages were higher, the average salary plummeted. Many new startups visited and the general trend of people rising in non-core continues. I assume around 80 percent seniors ended up getting either a PPO or job offer. Highest salary was around 1.5 crores and average being near 12-13 lakhs. Also, internship was the same though the process still continues.
