Computer Science and Engineering was the most sought-after BTech specialisation for the General AI category students, with first and last-round closing ranks of 248 and 252, respectively, for admission in 2024. The second-best option for students who missed out on CSE was Electrical Engineering, with a lenient last-round closing rank of 1290. The first-round cutoff for the same course stood at 1257.

IIT Kanpur Cutoff 2024 For OBC All India Category 

During the IIT Kanpur OBC category cutoff 2024, the JEE Advanced last-round closing ranks ranged between 132 and 4766, with CSE being the most competitive BTech specialisation for admission in 2024. The first and last-round closing ranks for CSE stood at 129 and 132, respectively.
