Placements: Mathematics and scientific computing is one of the top branches of IIT Kanpur. It has 100% placements from the past few years. In 2019 batch, the highest salary package offered was 72 LPA within India and 1.5 crores per annum in abroad. Placements: Above 90% of the students get placed every year from our college. The highest salary package offered by companies in India is 45 LPA and 1 crore per annum in foreign, while the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA-6 LPA. Recruitment companies for our college are Amazon, Infosys, Facebook, Reliance, Flipkart, Apple, etc. The placement session is conducted in December and summer.

Placements: The placements for economics at IITK is great. The percentage of students placed generally stands third overall only after CSE and EE. The avg. Package is around 15-18 LPA and the main profiles for which companies visit are analytics, consulting, investment banking, algorithmic trading, etc.

Placements: 85% of all students who applied to the students placement office got placed in the first round of placement. placement was higher in bachelors than masters, But masters placement has improved over last few years. The top placement branches were of course CSE and EE, but the highest placement of 1.56 crore CTC was grabbed by a CE student. Placements: The first semester of the course is much related to JEE level. But some courses are in-depth like MTH101A, PHY103A in which every student cram throughout the semester. All other courses are the same for all first-year students in all IITs. Placements: 80 percent of people placed this year. In M.Tech mechanical Bajaj, BUTTERFLY, rolls Royce, HSBC, Tata motors are the companies came this year and maximum package was 16lpa and minimum was 8 LPA. 60 percent of students got internships in various companies and top roles offered are design and thermal engineer.

Placements: There are no placement for M.Sc. students in our department because only coaching center is offering the job with low salary package. So students are not interested in it. Maximum student in our department are willing to do Ph.D. so they do not join in the industry.

Placements: My batch of Aerospace Engineers will be passing out in April, 2022. Last time I checked 85% of students sitting in placements GOT placed. In core jobs people work at positions as high as scientists in ISRO and many more. The highest salary goes up to 50 Lacs per year in core jobs and even more for non core jobs. The highest salary package offered is 1.5 crores per annum, and the average salary package of 50 LPA and the lowest salary package of 12 LPA are offered. Hindustan Unilever is the top recruiter. About 60% of the students got internships, and companies like Hindustan Unilever, etc., offer internships.

Placements: Students those who attended for placements got placed. Few students go for core jobs because mainly they prefer software development, consultancy or prepare for central government jobs. After completion of the internships, many students get PPOs from those companies.

Placements: In past about 80% UG placed in mechanical department. Students can seat for either core or non core profiles. Average package offered may be around 6-10 Lacs per annum. Hindustan Unilever limited, Tata motors, Goldman sachs, Bosch, HSBC-global, etc.

Placements: In the civil branch, students are not getting good placements and also they also not offer the highest salary. Few students got an internship in the core, so this condition is so poor. So many students are not interested in civil because they think there is nothing. And many students from civil going for civil services.

Placements: Almost 70% of the students were placed the previous year in 2018. The highest salary package offered was 1.1 crores per annum. The lowest salary package offered was 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Gartner, Goldman Sachs, American Express, JP Morgan Chase and Co., MasterCard, Visa, Casio, Oyo, Nomura, Flipkart, ITC, HUL, Deutsche Bank, Google, Samsung, and Microsoft.

Placements: Placements is very good here in Electrical Department. Good companies like Qualcomm and Intel come here for placements. The salary offered is usually high but depends from year to year. Most of students in senior batch have got placed in one company or other.

Placements: Placements in our college are excellent. There are lots of job and internship opportunities for students. CSE branch placement this year was 100%. The highest package was 1.39 crores per annum. Average package was around 25 LPA. Google, Facebook, Microsoft, and many good companies like them are our major recruiters.

Placements: Three out of ten got placed in campus placements, this number might sound meagre for you but this is at par with the condition of HWRE in other IITs. Two of the remaining got placed in HPCL and IOCL through GATE. The highest salary offered is 12 LPA and the lowest is 7.85 LPA. Multiple companies visit the campus for almost all types of streams. But mostly, IT companies visit the campus for placements. Reputed companies like Microsoft, FB, LinkedIn and HUL also visit the campus for placements.
