IIT Kanpur Cutoff 2024: Check JEE Advanced Round Wise Cutoff Ranks

Qualifying marks for JEE Mains 2024 also, called qualifying percentile for JEE Mains 2024 will be announced by the NTA along with the session 2 result. Candidates must note that qualifying percentile for JEE Mains 2024 is the minimum percentile required to appear in JEE Advanced 2024. IIT Kanpur also accepts GATE exam scores for the admission to M.Tech courses. Candidates with 700 score can easily get admission to any course except Discontinued (Jul 2023)-M.Tech. in Microelectronics and VLSI at IIT Kanpur. The IIT Kanpur cutoff 2024 stood between 622 and 840 for the General AI category candidates. The toughest and the easiest course to get into IIT Kanpur were Discontinued (Jul 2023) - M.Tech in Microelectronics and VLSI and Discontinued (Jul 2023)-M.Tech. in Power Engineering for the General AI category candidates. IIT Kanpur Cutoff 2024 was released for admission to M.Tech courses was concluded, on the basis of GATE exam. In IIT Kanpur, the cutoff was released for M.Tech. in Photonics Science and Engineering, with the cutoff rank of 658 for the General AI category. Among the OBC AI category candidates, the cutoff rank for the same course closed at 588. The cutoff was also released for other categories under the All India Quota.

The IIT Kanpur MSc cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 1, wherein the M.Sc. in Statistics is the most competitive specialisation with a closing rank of 58 for the General AII India category students. The least competitive course is M.Sc. in Mathematics with a cutoff rank of 131. So, candidates seeking admission to any of the MSc courses must secure a rank up to 131 to be eligible for IIT Kanpur. 

IIT Kanpur admission to the MSc course is based on IIT JAM scores, followed by the IIT JAM counselling process. Only candidates on the JAM 2024 merit list based on JAM 2024 scorecard will be eligible to apply for admission. 

IIT Kanpur JAM Cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 2. The most competitive course was M.Sc in Statistics, with the Cutoff of 63. For the OBC AI category candidates, the Cutoff stood at 187, for M.Sc in Statistics.

If the Cutoff rank is more than 63, there is no scope of admission to IITs for M.Sc in Statistics. 

CEED is the accepting exam for admission to the MDes course. To get admission to IIT Kanpur for MDes, the candidate must qualify for the IIT Kanpur CEED Cutoff 2024.
