Placements: For Mechatronics, it is difficult to get core companies since they are not visiting campus for placements. Companies like Honeywell and other all robotics companies visit our college for placements. Placements are difficult for mechanical students who do not have an interest in electronics and computer science.

Placements: The chemical branch in IIT Patna is good with great exposure, and it is also the best for research students. Almost 50% of the students got placements. The highest salary package offered is 25 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 1 LPA. Top private companies like Dr. Reddy's Laboratories are the top recruiter for the chemical course and many public sector companies also. Almost 40% of the students got an internship.

Placements: In EEE branch, mainly students get placed in the IT sector, about 91% of students got placed in the year 2020. The average package offered was 12.3 Lakh per annum. On average, many students got placement for 8 Lakh per year. Besides the IT sector, DRDO, ISRO PSUs like IOCL etc. visit campus and students can grab 18 Lakh per annum package. Placements: Our college provides 100% placements for our batch in 2019. I have opted for VLSI and embedded system stream in M.Tech. Many core companies provide internship opportunities to the students, and all the students in our batch got the internship offer. Some went to Intel and some in ST.

Placements: The placements for CSE is 100% with average package of about 16 LPA. Overall for CSE the placement scenarios is really good. The batch of 2019 got placed in companies like Google Warshaw Poland, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Codenation, Microsoft etc. The highest on campus package was 40lpa (2019).

Top recruiting companies are Samsung, Jindal electronics, Qualcomm, Intel. Almost 93% of students got an internship in companies like Amazon.

Placements: Training and placement cell of IITP is growing at a great pace, and the number of companies visiting is also increasing for the placement season. The 2020 batch of chemical engineering is the first of batch in chemical engineering branch in the college. It is a replacement for chemical science and technology, which is more of a research field than a core engineering branch. So the placements are yet to be registered for the first batch. Placements: Since the programme in chemical engineering started since 2016, the first batch would graduate in 2020, and it is very early to comment on the placements. We are expecting that the placements would be good as we already have many non-branch specific companies visiting the campus. Even a lot of the students have interned at reputed chemical companies, firms, and universities within and outside India.

Placements: Placements in college were good. The placement rate was 100%. The highest salary package offered was 19 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was around 5-6 LPA. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Cisco, JP Morgan, Samsung, were the major recruiters among others. Almost everyone got internships from college. There was a placement cell, and it was very effective.

The average salary package offered was 9 LPA, and there is a constant improvement in the salary packages offered over the years. There is a dedicated placement cell which handles all the placement related activities. This placement cell is very helpful in placing the students in their dream companies.

Companies like Amazon, Capgemini, Microsoft, Samsung, L&T and many more are coming for recruitment purpose every year.

Placements: The placements of our college are good. A lot of companies come to the campus to recruit students, and they offer decent salaries. Few of the PSUs also come for recruitment. The training and placement cell does excellent work to invite new companies to increase the placement percentage. The average salary package offered is 10 LPA which is really good in the mechanical stream.
