IIT Patna Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: The college will provide placements as they promised. But the placements won't be like B.Tech programs because our mode of learning is online or distance, and the outcome that employers or the college expect might not be the same.

Placements: IIT Patna B.Sc. Computer Science and Data Analysis is a new course that starts in 2023 in order to change education policy. So no student has been selected yet, so I cannot say whether the placement will be the worst, average, or excellent. I see M.Sc. students getting packages of around INR 80 lacs, but IIT Patna has one of the best sources for job opportunities.

Placements: The placements are great for the CS batch. The students got selected in Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Amazon, Direct, Samsung and also all top companies like BPCL, HPCL, IOCL, ISRO come to recruit from electrical and mechanical branches. When it comes to chemical and civil placement is not that great.

Placements: The placements for computer science were good, with one of seniors getting into Google. Then there were Microsoft, Amazon, Arista Networks, Samsung, UHG, IVP and various startups, in which almost 95% of CSE students were placed. The placement for electrical and mechanical were mostly dependent on PSUs like Bharat Petroleum, Coal India etc. Mechanical also had companies like TATA Motors, Mahindra etc.
