IIT Ropar : Journey to the future.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. There are very helpful at various steps. The teaching quality is very good because mostly it is practical-based so that it can help us in our future career development. Yes, this course is very useful for the student in the current technological-based era. The semester exam is both moderate and difficult; mid-semester exams are moderate, but end-semester exams are quite difficult. Almost 90 percent of students passed the exams.

Campus life of IIT Ropar.

Faculty: The teachers and faculty members are highly qualified in their respective domains. Every professor has certain Ph.D. students who work as Teaching Assistants (TA) under the professors. These TAs generally evaluate our quiz papers and exam answer sheets.

Great hostel rooms, amazing crowd to hang out with makes my experience worth it.

Faculty: The teachers do a good job of explaining everything in class. If we attend class and review the class slides, we should be able to get a good grade. The course curriculum includes things like data structures and algorithms, which will help us become industry-ready.

The great insight about IIT ropar both good and bad.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified; they all hold a Ph.D. degree from abroad or from IITs. They have many years of experience and teach very well. The course curriculum is highly relevant. The lab work, industry visits, projects, and presentations make the curriculum more applicable. Yes, students become industry-ready with all the practical work included in the course. The exams are quite challenging, especially for common courses like Mathematics. Since IITs are a pool of talent, the professors se...

My experience at IIT Ropar.

Faculty: Very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable teachers are there. The teaching quality is simply excellent; the course curriculum is also very relevant and it is very industry-generic as we are provided with the project. The semester ranges from easy to medium and is not very difficult.

I have Completed one year of my IIT Journey. It was awesome, made a lot of memories. It was fun.

Faculty: Talking about Faculty at IIT Ropar, I would say they are quite younger in comparison to other IITs. Being a new-gen IIT, professors are also highly energetic. Theory can be approached very easily. The faculty ratio here is 1:9, i.e., for every student, there is a professor. These numbers are a little higher looking at other institutes' statistics. Classes are more interesting as students can interact with professors freely.

Our college provided good placements in 2022.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They always motivate us to study. They have very good knowledge of the course. They try to teach all things in-depth. We can understand every concept. The course curriculum is relevant but does not make students industry-ready. Students have to study on their own. Semester exams are very difficult. Our college conducts exams from time to time. The pass percentage is average.

Great college with a very good infrastructure with one of the best 2nd Gen IITs.

Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified. All Proffesors are Ph.D holders. Student to faculty ratio is also good. We have 2 semesters in a year and 2 quizzes between semester exams. The minimum passing marks are 35%-40% depending on the course. It is moderate to pass. After all, it is a decent college.
