Review of ILAHIA College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Campus drives from various companies are provided, but most of them were fake during our course period. Students who joined after course completion found out that there is no vacancy available as in the offer letter. I am stating the campus recruitments for the year 2019.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are satisfying. The hostel has quality rooms with an above-average mess at an affordable price. It needs renovation works for the classrooms and more than that the lab should be equipped with the latest machinery's. Wi-Fi is provided to appropriate branch students.
Faculty: Almost all the faculty members are dedicated and promising except a few others. They cover the syllabus at an appropriate time and do pepper exams in between the semester. About 75% of the lecturers are qualified. They have a good knowledge and vision about the subjects.
Other: I have chosen this course because most of the students who got placed from our college belong to that stream. It is also a good stream to build a successful career in a short time, or else you can choose a mechanical stream for the best campus experience. Events like tech fest, college day, arts, etc., are celebrated grandly, which will be your time to chill.

Review of ILAHIA College of Engineering and Technology (ICET Kerala).
Placements: Computer science and electronic engineering students get some placement opportunities. But, the mechanical students won't get any core jobs. If you attend the interview, you may get IT-related jobs. Companies like TCS, Sutherland, etc., offer placements. Two students got placed that year. There were no internship programs in our college.
Infrastructure: All the self-financing colleges focus on the infrastructure of college and hostels. The college provides labs for mechanical, electrical, electronics, computer science and civil departments. Sports like basketball, football and cricket are played on the campus. Classrooms are good enough. The most difficult interaction zone was college stores, as they were always crowded. There is no proper management.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful. They not only teach but also motivate the students. E-classrooms were used for teaching. The student to teacher ratio was 40:1. We got good exposure through industrial visits. The experienced staff members are very helpful.
Other: In 2015, an extraordinary tech fest was organised by the mechanical department. We have also conducted competitive arts fest, inter-college sports, football tournaments, etc., in our college. The college provides scholarships to the students with low-family income.

The college has really good infrastructure.
Placements: Placements are mainly provided in the IT and BPO sectors. You can hardly find any placement in other fields. Sutherland Global Services does come to our college for the placement process, offering consultant profiles. You can get off-campus placement opportunities as well. We have a dedicated placement officer in the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is pretty impressive. All the necessary labs, a good library, a canteen and a gym are available. There are also a basketball court, football field and a badminton court. There are computer labs as well. Other labs are available for mechanical, civil, electrical, electronics and communication branches.
Faculty: There are a lot of experienced faculty members in our college. They have industry experience as well. They are dedicated to teaching and will help you learn in and out of the class. They give assignments and projects as well. The course curriculum needs an upgradation.

Ilahia life is very awesome life no one will forget.

The college has good infrastructure and other facilities, but placement is not good.
Placements: We didn't get any placement or job opportunity for the mechanical engineer, but in CS, there are some placements in IT companies in Kerala. If they provide some placements or internships, the college becomes one of the top colleges in Kerala. In electrical engineering also, the college provides placements in BHEL, Refineries, etc.
Infrastructure: We have a very good infrastructure. There are separate buildings for every stream on the campus. A big college situated in the middle of natural beauty high range. There are a big and super playground, seperate basketball and volleyball court on the campus. Anyway, it is a good college.
Faculty: In my college, the authorities hire only experienced m-tech faculty so that they can teach very mannerly and understandably. They provide PPT for better studies, and they also provide a hard copy of modules so that we can study easily. Teachers show videos of engine mechanism so that we can understand easily. The faculty members are very friendly with students so that it is very easy to communicate with each other, so we can easily clear doubts and all.
Other: In my college, we have a techfest, art fest, Accion cup, and other programs yearly for students.
