It does not have any direct campuses.
Research funding is very week.
They give only around 20 PhD fellowships a year.

ILM College of Engineering and Technology, Ernakulam has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| B.E. / B.Tech | Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala), or Examinations recognised as equivalent thereto, with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Biotechnology/ Biology with atleast 45% (40% marks for SC/ST/ SEBC and those included in the PD quota) marks put together in the above subjects.
