Our college is good for people who want to pursue college with a side hustle.

Placements: Hi, I am a student at this college. I just completed my first year, and this college was good before COVID. As students were top-notch, companies used to visit for good placements. But after the COVID Era, students didn't come to college properly and were not well qualified for good placements. So fewer companies visited and just took some of them who really worked hard for that.

I am absolutely satisfied because of the faculty members, good placements, and infrastructure.

Placements: About 80% of students in our college get placed. The lowest salary package is Rs. 15,000 per month, the highest is Rs. 40,000 per month, and the average is Rs. 30,000 per month. The top recruiters are GFK Solution, ICICI Bank, and PCS Global. About 100% of students get paid internships from Ardent Collaboration.

A review of Imps College Of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: The college provides very few placement opportunities when compared to other engineering colleges, as our college is located very far from the major city of Kolkata. So, students have to face certain problems regarding placements. Gradually, placements of the college have decreased, and no reputed companies visited the college.

An unforgettable college life.

Placements: The college has a good placement record, and most of the students are placed in reputed companies like TCS, Wipro and Amazon. These students also get placement package of approximately 3.5 LPA, and my department with 95% placements was top on the list among all the departments.

The unforgettable 4 years of the college.

Placements: The placement at the time of admission in 2012 was quite good. Approximately 70% of the last batches' senior students got placed in reputed companies, but after taking admission, we had to see a downfall in the placements every year, but, when I passed out, the placement was at the lowest, and most of the students didn't get placed.

Absolutely dissatisfied for all reason mentioned except two or three.

Placements: There is no advance facility you will get from this College, while admission they promise you to give high percentage number and collect huge amount of money, but after admission you will only get the passing marks hardly, 6-7 companies visits here every year, but only near about 15-20% of students are selected for job.

College is good it’s improving day by day. College is situated 3 km from town, good environment. Local people are not so good. There is no placement. But one can learn new technologies as faculty members are good. Separate hostel facility with generator is available. Food is good. Non vegetarian will enjoy their food. Chicken, egg and fish will be served all the days.

Does not have good faculty. Placement is average. Pre campus training is good. Lab facilities are average. Hostel is just fine. But if someone really wants to study, they can have lot of help from the faculty members. Overall, this college is average. There are some good visiting faculty. Library is reasonably good. It's located in a remote village. If somebody wants city feeling, it isn’t a good option.

I did my B.tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from IMPS College of Engineering and Technology. The college has a decent library but the labs need improvement. During my final year the placement was not at all good. Only Infosys and Syntel were prominent recruiters and majority of the students were not placed. The faculty of ECE department is knowledgeable. The hostels are not up to the mark.

IMPS College of Engineering and Technology has got a mix of pros and cons. The quality of education and the faculty is good, but the main problem lies in the fact that the faculty members get changed quite frequently due to various reasons. This hampers the smoothness of the study and difficult to adapt with frequently changing pedagogy. The town has got a poor standard of living, so the expenses are minimal and doesn't take a heavy toll on a student’s pocket with limited funds. Taking placement...

My college is not good .It does not have good infrastructure and the teaching faculty is also not well experienced. Hostel rooms are good but only things that is almira is needed in each room, otherwise food is very good 3 times non-veg food is provided. If I come to the placement, I would say that, the placement is very poor and the companies which come for placement are BPO and I think college should arrange more placement opportunities for the students so that they get good job.

IMPS College of Engineering & Technology situated at Malda (Approx 400 KM from Kolkata). IMPSCET always focus on delivering quality education in North Bengal and surrounding region. Hostel life & environment is very nice. The placement department of IMPSCET has a continuous interaction with MNC to have an idea of what the MNC expect from students. I got placed in a Syntel Ltd. Special thanks to IMPSCET admin & TPO.

Not a good college. Faculty members are bad. Infrastructure is bad. Labs don't have enough equipment. Whatever equipment is present is badly maintained. Campus interviews are very less. Companies that do come for recruitment, hire a few students. I would not recommend this college.

Indian School of Mines made me what I am today, you get exceptional people to interact with, you get opportunities equivalent to any other college, only thing is the teaching quality in core branches (CS, ELEX) is not at par with other colleges, but then student get a lot of time to improve themselves on their own. The only negative thing I saw in my 4 years was the "Matiyao" attitude of people, because of which the students may not be known so much as much their potential is.
