Candidates who have passed ‘three years Engg Diploma from an Institution located in U.P. with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) or ‘whose parents (Father or Mother) are domicile of Uttar Pradesh’ and he/she has passed three years Engg Diploma with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) recognized by the Board of Technical Education, U.P. in any branch of Engineering (Except Agriculture Engineering, Pharmacy and Architecture) are eligible for admission.
Candidates who have passed three years B.Sc. degree and passed XII standard with Mathematics as one of the subject from any recognized University, securing minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in aggregate are eligible to apply for the course.

The collge authorities are quite cooperative and there is learning are growing environment in campus
Placements: As of last year around 40% companies visited the campus which comprised of technical, non- technical, marketing based companies and in total there was a placement of 74% students in campus itself which is an increased figure from last to last year of 69% students being placed and the average package was of 3.5l. And the highest package was of 11l offered by SAMSUNG. Overall the placement cell makes sure that each and every student holds 1 job in hand. The college provide students information regarding when and how the companies will hire for internship and also prepare students for that.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are very spacious and comfortable seats are there. Labs are fully equipped. Hostel facilities are quite good. The rooms are cleaned on daily basis giving fresh essence for studying and each room os attached with a balcony for access to fresh air. Mess food is hygienic and healthy food and proper care is taken of health of students.
Faculty: All the faculty members are more than qualified for the subjects they teach and also almost all teachers hold a Ph.D. degree in their respective subjects which gives an upper edge to IPEC as compared to other colleges. Apart from studies faculty are motivate students for new ideas and research project and also support them selflessly. The course a curriculum was followed according to the AKTU university as IPEC is affiliated to it.
Other: Its great experience in the college with great infrastructure and quite good gender ratio. There is special network created senior students and alumni are connected through social accounts. The network is by the name IPECAlmaconnect and we get to know about various placement opportunities and drives taking place.
