Review of IIIT Kottayam - Indian Institute of Information Technology.

Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed. Many big tech companies like Goldman Sachs, Medianet, Jio, TCS, Nissan, Deloitte, etc., come to our college for placements. It depends upon the student's knowledge to grab the opportunity. Deloitte, Capgemini and Cognizant are the major recruiters. The highest package offered is around 42 LPA, and the average package is 10.35 LPA.

This Institute is vey good and will be worth if you do hard work.

Placements: I am currently a fresher at IIIT Kottayam, Most of our seniors are placed at good companies according to our seniors. The highest and average packaged are steadily growing year by year. Top recruiting companies are IBM and TCS. But what I have seen on LinkedIn is that the seniors are typically working in these types of companies only for a year, and then they go to work for extremely niche companies such as Google, Goldman, Brain, Facebook, etc.

It is the best IIIT in newly formed ones and good for research.

Placements: Being the 2nd batch of ECE. Students do not have placements yet, seniors have to pass out. In 2021, around 88% of students are placed. As CS-oriented colleges, many students are placed in MNC's. The average salary package offered is 10.43 LPA, while the highest salary pacakge offered is 42 LPA. Many students in the 2nd year get internships opportunities, they have to maintain a good CGPA to be an intern. Our college has many clubs which promote the overall growth of a student such as a tech club...

I had a really good experience in this college.

Placements: Around 200 students were there in this course. There is a cut-off in fees for poor students. Around 85% of students from our college got placed in different places. Some got placed in our own country, and around 7% of students got placed in other countries.

IIIT is one of its kind. Students can join if they can handle academic pressure and also have fun.

Placements: More than 90% of the students got placed through both off-campus and on-campus placement drives. Some top recruiters include Jio, Bosch, Mindtree, Goldman Sachs, TCS, Ericsson, etc. The highest salary package offered in 2020 was around 18 LPA, and the average salary package offered was around 7-8 LPA. Students got internships in their third-year and also got PPOs, i.e., pre-placement offers.

IIIT KOTTAYAM holds top place among newly established IIITs.

Placements: Almost all students are placed in good companies with high packages. Companies like TCS, IBM, SAP LABS are recruiting students with handful perks. Course curriculum is vibrant as IIIT KOTTAYAM follows curriculum of IIIT HYDERABAD. Students from second and third year got many on campus and off campus internships.

It is a good college to showcase all our talents.

Placements: It is a new IIIT college which was established in the year 2015, and this college is under PPP mode. We had only one pass out batch with a strength of 30 students. Maximum all students have placed in various sectors, and few students went abroad for their higher studies. The highest salary package offered to the pass out batch is nearly 9 LPA. In the year 2020, we have our 4th-year students with the same strength of 30. Now all have placed in different companies, and some students are offered wi...
