IIIT Manipur Highlights 2025

Indian Institute of Information Technology Manipur, popularly known as IIIT Manipur, was established in 2015, to encourage students to pursue higher education, research, and training across various fields of Information Technology. As IIIT Manipur is a fairly new institute among the 19 new IIITs established under the no-profit public-private partnership scheme set up by the Ministry of HRD, it is operating under the mentorship of the IIT Guwahati.

IIIT Manipur has three departments, including Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Humanities & Basic Sciences that collectively offer a full-time UGC-approved BTech programme. IIIT Manipur admission process is primarily entrance-based. IIIT Manipur course admissions are based on national-level exams such as JEE Main and GATE. During the IIIT Manipur BTech cutoff 2024, the last round closing rank ranged between 43854 and 53115, among which BTech in Computer Science and Engineering was the most competitive specialisation.
