1. Appear for JEE Mains entrance exams 
2. Login to the official website of JoSAA/ CSAB using the JEE Mains roll no and password to cross-check all the pre-filled data and click on save
3. The next step involves filling preferences for Colleges and branches.
4. The counselling authority, on the basis of rank secured by the candidate and cut-off released by the institute, allot colleges to the candidates through multiple rounds
