IIIT Ranchi MTech Courses and Fees 2025: Seat Intake, Eligibility, Criteria

The MTech course at IIIT Ranchi is a two-year full-time programme consisting four semesters. IIIT Ranchi Mtech offers two specialisations:

• Data Science & Artificial Intelligence
• Embedded Systems and IoT

Programme's coursework consists of courses, electives, projects, assessments, and others. A candidate has to undergo industrial training in the final semester of the programme.

Eligibility criteria for M.Tech candidates are given below:

• GATE candidates: Candidates must have a BTech degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent) from a recognised university. They must also have qualified the GATE exam with a minimum score of 750 (or equivalent). Check the GATE Exam Date and prepare for the exams accordingly.
• Non-GATE candidates: Candidates must have a BTech degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent) from a recognised university. 
• Sponsored candidates: Candidates sponsored by government organizations/reputed industrial organizations/academic institutions are not required to have a GATE score. However, they must meet the other eligibility criteria.
