Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

A honest review of IGEC, a government college that is affordable.
Placements: Honestly, this college does not provide many placement opportunities. You cannot depend solely on the college for placement; you have to go for open campus drives and search for opportunities outside the college. From the college, you can expect an average package of 3-4 lakh.
Infrastructure: This college offers a total of five branches: IT, ME, CE, EC, and EE. The top branch is IT. The infrastructure of the college is quite good, but all the college buildings are old. The hostels are affordable, with three girls sharing one room, and food is also included in the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are good enough to teach college subjects, but they do not cover any specializations. The course curriculum is solid, but you have to learn by yourself. Please do not depend only on teachers. Semester exams are somewhat tough, but if you study on your own, you can easily pass.
Other: This college is affordable, as the fee structure is very reasonable. Since it is a government college, you can take admission here. However, after admission, don’t depend on the college; focus on your skills, learn some special programming languages and DSA concepts, and go for open campus opportunities.

The facilities and package are good.
Placements: 60% of students are placed in this college. The average package is 4 LPA and this college not good for placement, but the education system is strong. TCS came to the campus last year and provided students with a good package. Internships were also provided by the college.
Infrastructure: Facilities are available for all courses. Classes are good, Wi-Fi is available in this college with smart classrooms. College hostels are average. Mess, canteen are available in this college. Sports are also available.
Faculty: College teachers are very good and all teachers are qualified from GATE. If we face any technical problems, teachers help us and solve the issue easily. Semesters are easy to pass with good marks. Even an average student can crack the exam easily and get a good CGPA.
Other: Campus needs improvements

The college is considered average, and students from Sagar, prefer enrolling in this institution.
Placements: The highest package is approximately 12 LPA, and the average package is around 3 to 4 LPA. The package a student receives depends on their skills, academic performance over the four years, CGPA, practical knowledge, and proficiency in languages such as Python and Java.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is below average, given its status as a government college with a low fee (around twenty-five thousand per year). The college, being quite old, requires construction improvements and regular cleanliness. Currently, as a first-year student, our classrooms are on the 3rd floor, and there are dirty desks.
Faculty: Being a government college with teachers holding permanent positions, some instructors possess excellent teaching skills and strive to ensure that students comprehend every aspect, like our Mathematics professor, Dr. Neelesh Sir. However, there are others who differ in their teaching approach.
Other: I have decided to pursue my undergraduate studies in Information Technology from this college. I did not secure direct admission in the first and second rounds of counseling due to my low JEE marks. Instead, I gained admission through the College-level counseling.

A Life of a student in IGEC .
Placements: In this college the highest package is 9LPA and the average package is 4-5LPA. But you have to apply for off-campus also because college does not provide so many opportunities. You need to do an internship by yourself so that you can get a good package.
Infrastructure: The college's main buildings were old. There were no new buildings. But the classrooms were nice. And also the Labs are good. Specially Out IT department was especially good. I live outside PG but hostels are quite good I don't know much. But you can adopt hostels.
Faculty: Yaaa! Teachers are nice and they taught so well. But as we know if you are doing engineering you need to learn all the things by yourself. But faculty are good in my department. And exams are conducted as per the rule of RGPV. Exams are not so tough but not so easy. If you study well you can easily clear.
Other: If you want to do B.Tech from a government college in which fee is less then you can take this college. Because fee was very less. SC, ST and OBC students got scholarships also. So this is a good thing in this college.

Good placement in 2015: all students are performing well, and facilities are good.
Placements: This college student is very well placed in this college. This college student is in good marks, and the packages are also good. The highest package was 8 last year, and the lowest package was 3 last year. In this college, internships are provided by the best company.
Infrastructure: My college facilities are very good; all departments are good. My branch is information technology, which is the best branch in this college. Wi-Fi is available, and the lab is the best in all courses. Classrooms are used in projectors. My college's facilities are good, and the hostel is also good. Messes are best, and the contents are also good.
Faculty: My college teachers are helpful, and all teachers are highly experienced and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is the best, and all teachers have good experience. The semester exam is not difficult, easy to crack, and easy to score good marks in this college, but no study, no good marks in college.

Good placement and good for all B.Tech. students.
Placements: Fifteen percent of students are placed in our course. Fifteen lacs is the highest package, eight lacs is the average, and four lacs is the lowest. Eighty percent of students got internships. Companies that offer the students are M.C., PPS, AAT, and others; it is good for placements and for a good package.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is very well functioning. The labs are clean, and all chemicals and instruments have been provided. Teachers are very polite and clear up all our doubts. The library is open to campus students. Hostels are clean and they are for both boys and girls. College is good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and always there for students. They provide information and important notes to all students. Exams are also not that tough or easy. Semesters can be difficult, but they are beneficial to students' intelligence. Thirty-five percent is the pass percentage.

This is an autonomous college, but college has no much reputation and no companies come there for placements. Campus is good, but teachers are not as good. Good luck.
