Placements: Not that good but we got many off campus drives from our college. Core branch companies like Vedant, Bhusan, TRL etc. Came but they take very less students like 10-15. A lot of students got placed from off campus placements. Computer Science branch students got more placements in companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS. Other than computer Science all other streams also mostly placed in these software companies only.
Placements: Placements in the college are nil. There are no efforts from the authority regarding placements. There are absolutely no placements offered. They are ruining students' careers. There is no proper utilisation of students' money. There is no training provided for students regarding placements. There is no seriousness in authorities regarding students career, and also no action is taken related to it.
Placements: Poor. Most of the students of my batch are still hunting for job. Only a handful from Computer Science branch were place and selected few from other branches. The scenario was same with our seniors. Most of the students who were placed erred taken by mass recruiters like TCS and Tech Mahendra.
Placements: Placement scenario is not good. Only 2 companies have visited this year for on campus placement and one of them is a software industry. Most of the students are unplaced still now. The highest package is 6 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. Only 15 percent students are placed.
Placements: Most of the students did an internship in many industries. The placement in mechanical engineering and civil engineering is poor in comparison to the other branches. The placement in the core is poor. Every year, about 20%-30% of the students got placed in the software companies and about 5%-10% in the core companies.
Placements: Now, I am studying M.Tech at IGIT in 1st year. We are waiting for our placement, but according to the history of my college, several students are appointed at a well-established company with a handsome amount of salary package. TCS, Wipro, NALCO, Aditya Birla Group, UltraTech, Infomatica, NTPC, etc., are the companies facilitated our college.
Placements: The placements were excellent for our senior batch. A minimum of 25% students were placed in the last year. The highest and lowest salary offered was Rs. 12,000 and Rs. 7,000. The average salary offered was Rs. 10,000. Different types of companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc. have visited the campus in the past. Different types of managerial roles were offered to the students. Minimum 90% of students got an internship from the college.
Placements: The placements were good for the past year students of this college. 20% of students were placed in different colleges. The highest salary was 20,000 and the lowest salary was 12,000. Different companies like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Infosys etc. and many companies visited in the past. Basically leadership roles were offered to the students. Minimum 85% of students got an internship from this college. The highest stipend was 60,000 and the lowest stipend was 7,500. ...
Placements: Placements were good for the previous year students. 10% of the students were placed in the previous year due to lack of concentration. Highest was offered as rupees 30,000. Lowest salary was rupees 12,500. TCS and Infosys are the companies that visited in the past. Good students were placed in the past at superior roles. 85% students got internships in different companies.
Placements: Placements were not so good in the year we passed out. It improved in the later years but that substantially. The lack of interest from the admin and the absence of a proper student placement body hampers the situation. The roles offered were mostly software jobs with very few options for core jobs. There were hardly any internships for the students unless from an effort from the student's end. TCS is the only savior in this dire situation.
This being a government college, we were not able to depend much on the faculty. And most of the faculty were hired on a contractual basis. It is a great place to make friends. Hostel life was cool. Placements were decent. Infrastructure needs to be developed. All in all, I would give it 3 out of 5.
