IILET 2025 syllabus: The Indore Institute of Law (IIL) has published the syllabus of IIL Entrance Test 2025 along with the application forms. The syllabus of IILET 2025 mentions topics from each section of the question paper. Candidates appearing for IILET 2025 in a paper-based test mode can check here the detailed syllabus for each subject to prepare for the examination. 

 

Q:   How IILET is different from other law entrance exams such as CLAT and AILET?

A:

IILET is a standardized test with a uniform pattern and single question paper for admissions to five-year integrated LLB courses in Law. Candidates can take the exam for admissions IIL. Whereas, CLAT and AILET have separate question papers for UG and PG courses. Based on CLAT scores, admissions are done at 22 NLUs and accepting colleges. Check the list of NLUs here. IILET 2025 Question Paper Overview

The question paper of the upcoming examination will be based on the following parameters 

  • There will be a total of 150 objective types of questions from five subjects - Currents Affairs and General Knowledge, English Comprehension, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques. 
  • Each question will be carrying one marks and, there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks in case of each wrong attempt. 
  • The questions paper of IILET 2025 is designed to test candidates aptitude and reasoning skills rather than core legal knowledge.

  • Fact situations or scenarios involving legal matters, public policy questions or moral philosophical enquiries
  • General awareness of legal and moral issues and Indian Constitutional Law and Polity
Logical Reasoning 

Passages of around 300 words to be based on - 

  • Relationships
  • Analogies
  • Logical Sequences
  • Arguments
  • Directions
  • Critical Reasoning 
  • Syllogism
Quantitative Techniques 

Passages of 450 words will be based on - 

  • Average 
  • Numbers
  • Algebra 
  • Geometry 
  • Probability
  • Quadratic equations 
  • Arithmetic progression/ geometric progression
