My opinion of IEM, Salt Lake.

Placements: The placement in the non-core section is held in the gurukul campus, and last year TCS took more than 400 students in it. Many other companies come in the regular years like Capgemini, Cognizant, Sony Erricson. The placements in the core companies are also good. This year, 14 core companies including Tata Voltus came for campus placement. Our director Prof. Dr K P Ghatak along with the other professors are enthusiast about this success in the placement in the core industries.

Satisfactory college review of Institute of Engineering and Management

Placements: Almost 100% placement is done. A very good relationship with companies. The average package is also good and the highest package is wonderful. The lowest package is near about 2.5 lakhs per annum. TCS, Cognizant, SAP Labs, IBM and many other reputed companies come for placements. In Kolkata, it is one of the best 3 engineering colleges for placements.

IEM- the best of everything

Placements: The placement drive in IEM is one of the best. About 80% of the students in my batch were placed in multiple reputed companies, the average salary being around 2.2 LPA for BCA graduates. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, Deloitte, SAP Labs, etc. visited us during the placement.

The best private college in Kolkata.

Placements: The placements were great; mostly everyone got good offers, some of the students even got 2-3 offers. The average package was good, many companies of high mark visited our campus to offer jobs and went with more than expected students. The companies like CTS, Infosys, PWC, NRI Fin Tech, Accenture, LabVantage, ARW, etc., visited our campus. We even get a help job-mela which help many students grab good packages.

Great place to learn, and innovate.

Placements: 2013 was an economic slowdown year, even though the campus managed 100% of the placements. In such a situation, a lot of new recruiters were added. Despite our major recruiters, claiming small chunks ended but hiring 1.5 times the estimated number of candidates. The campus placements are looked after by the faculty and are extremely fair and organized.

Absolutely satisfied with our institute

Placements: Almost 80 to 85 percent of students got placed in companies like SAP Lab, TCS, CTS, Tech Mahindra and many more companies. Students are encouraged to go for internships abroad and also in India. Our college is also a part of IEEE and holds conferences every year.

Highly satisfied for best faculty, best placements 2017 and very beautyfull and good infrastructure.

Placements: The placement offered by our college is very high. About 92% of the students got placed in many MNCs like Cognizant, Infosys, Abzooba, Sankalp Semiconductor, Wipro etc. In our batch of MTech, 2 out of 8 students got placed as remaining students opted out from placement for higher studies. The placement in our college is the best since our college not only brings IT sectors but also CORE sectors for the student of ECE, EEE and EIE department students. IEM: good in all aspects barring few.

Placements: Placements are one of the many factors IEM is known for. Each and every faculty member of this institute makes sure that cent percent students of the batch are placed. So, placement is not the concern of any student from IEM. Multinational companies like Infosys, Cognizant, TCS, Nomura, Wipro take part in the placement process. Every year at least two mass recruiting companies like Cognizant, Infosys take part in the placement process, and on day 2 of the placement session, at least 90% of the ...

Placements: Placement in IEM is excellent. Students get placed in reputed companies. Each student gets multiple job offers. The major recruiters are TCS, CTS, Infosys, Wipro and many more. 100% placement has been the record for IEM in the past few years. The highest and the lowest salary varies from time to time. The average salary is 3.5 LPA from the mass recruiters. Most of the students get placed in the IT sector for consultancy or developer. Internship is though encouraged but is not provided by the col...

Undoubtedly the best private college of West Bengal

Placements: The placement is good and better than any other private engineering college in this part of the country. More than 85% students got placed till November with many companies yet to come. The highest package offered is 8 LPA by Fusion Chart, TCS. However, this might increase as many companies with good packages are yet to come, like ARW, Wipro R&D and many more. Last year, the highest package was 15 LPA by a startup. The average salary offered is around 4 LPA. Internships from the college are n...

IEM is amongst the top engineering colleges in Kolkata. Some of the professors are expert in their field and provide quality education. It has the best location in Kolkata and the infrastructure is average. The major recruitment companies are CTS/TCS, Infosys and Wipro. There are no core companies for electronics engineering students, they have to work in the IT industry itself.

Very good campus placements by several companies from IT sector and students get multiple job offers. It is the best college in West Bengal or Eastern India to do B.tech. or any other courses from.

G.N.I.E.M is a good engineering college. Specially their faculty. The main plus point of my college is the great infrastructure and very good campus but their teaching is not so impressive. But I am quite happy to be a student here. I hope this will help you for choosing your college.
