This college is better than all other private colleges in Kolkata. And I think it provided me best that I can have in my engg. Life. All the teachers are always ready to solve our problems we face in our class. And in campus. All the seniors are very friendly. Like all other colleges’ fresher’s afraid to come college coz they think they might get ragged by their seniors, this is not so here. No one is allowed to rag any one.

All faculty are very good. But infrastructure are not very well. And placement and salary are simply superb. The biggest thing about that is only limited number of seat for all branch. The company which came to that collage is not only IT but core also like Microsoft.

I love Kolkata College because it is a big school so you're always meeting new people and making new friends, but it’s not so big that you never see a familiar face. I also love that we have a strong sense of school spirt; football games are always huge for tailgating and popular hockey and basketball games have a strong attendance. Additionally, I love that we are close to Kolkata because it is fairly easy to get into the city, although sometimes I wish we were directly in the city. It’s all ab...

The institute has strict rules and regulations. The faculty and facilities provided are very good, it offers the perfect environment to study. The faculty and staff is very helpful. Its crowd and campus life is excellent, so are the campus facilities. All the laboratories are perfectly designed and well decorated to do practical work and to increase one’s knowledge. It also has a huge library.

The best college in Calcutta under WBUT. 100% placement is a real phenomenon in this college. The college is a bit strict but it is for your own good. In our batch a total of 10 companies came for campus Interview. To name, few of them are Sap Labs, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, etc.

Good college with good placement record. This year also placement record was above 95% but you will not be able to enjoy your college life. Too much restrictions and a strict college authority. Not a big college campus but I must say faculty members are very helpful regarding studies and also if u want to participate in any co-curricular activities. Time to time important seminars are conducted which helps us to learn a lot. It is the best college of West Bengal.

College hosts three fests and there’s a choice of clubs & activities for all round development. Attendance is strict. Academically, if you manage your time well, you can do well. Teachers are good but not great. Students are extremely friendly. There are many places to relax. Films are screened occasionally in the auditorium.

IEM, Kolkata is the best Private engineering college in West Bengal. The discipline and attendance is very strict. Faculty members are friendly but strict. Well focused on study. What matters in B.Tech colleges, is study and then placement. Study is very good in IEM. Anyone can contact at any time (College hours) with any faculty member for what you didn't get/understand. The placement is awesome. The students who are weak in communication skill, IEM has a team to learn these things and develop ...

Termed as the 'Jewel of the East', the college stands worthy of its name. It has a strongly disciplined, motivating and inspiring environment to study. Along with the very friendly and co-operative teachers and the high standard of competition, placement records of a complete 100% placement are alluring.

The clam environment and good and enthusiastic faculties made my life. For engineering subjects, you need to know the basics, the basic math. I got a good guidance for that attending the classes. I became interested in robotics and it is my driving energy now. Moreover, IEM has strict rules, it's more like a school. That actually helps a lot to focus and learn. And It has a very good library. If you really need you can get the many book you want.

To start with key words faculty, ambience, placement, fun, college life are just awesome on the above parameters. I had a wonderful 4 years’ experience being a part of this institute. Faculty is too good. You get a surety of 100% placement in an esteemed company. The infrastructure is really cool. Discipline here is the topmost priority which adds feather on its cap.

Speaking of IEM I would like to say that it’s a very good college from the following points: 1. Faculty members are very good, way of teaching is very nice. 2. Discipline wise it is very strict one cannot have the mentality of enjoy bunking the classes or entering late. 3. Placement wise it is not good but at the same time not bad to, it is just at average. The main thing is they prepare in such a way that no candidates have to wait for the college to give placement.

Placements: 99 percent of students are placed with a good package in their dream companies. In the BCA department, the package varies between 3 to 7 LPA. The highest package was around 7.5 LPA, and the lowest was around 2.8 LPA. Top companies like TCS, Deloitte, Amazon, Capgemini, etc., recruit from the college. The college provides opportunities for internships, but students have to clear some tests and interviews to become eligible.
