B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2026

3Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
The college is good and this college ranks 1.
Placements: The placements in core companies for the EE department are limited. Most of the companies that visit the campus offer roles in sales and marketing rather than core. Around 40% of students secure placement in these companies. Many students prefer to opt for higher studies, pursuing M.Tech or MS while others prepare for government exams like GATE, ESE, or state-level exams. The highest salary package offered was approximately 12 LPA, while the average package was around 4.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, providing top facilities in the campus. The campus is equipped with full Wi-Fi, modern labs, well-maintained classrooms, and a central library with an extensive collection of resources. There are separate hostels for boys and girls for all years of study. The mess food is good, especially for first-year students, and the canteen offers a variety of options for everyone. The campus also has a hospital for medical needs, ensuring student health and safety. Additionally, there is a sports complex with facilities for cricket, football, and courts for other games, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle among students.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and qualified, and most of them are knowledgeable. However, 40% of the teachers are on contract. The teaching quality is decent, but most students skip classes. Attendance is mandatory, with a 75% criterion. The curriculum is relevant and is updated every year for each batch of students. Semester exams are somewhat difficult, and a student must get at least 40% to pass a subject.
Other: The college organizes regular events and fests, including college fests and department fests such as Encore and Vidyouth. The campus is in a good location with good connectivity, and the surrounding area is also good. Students can receive scholarships ranging from 64k to 90k from the government of Uttar Pradesh.

Inside of Institute of engineering and technology.
Placements: Around 75% to 80% of students were placed in the college. The highest package is around 49 lacs (on campus), 1.2 crore (off campus), and the lowest is around 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Google, Adobe, and Wipro. Students also get internships at Google and Microsoft.
Infrastructure: The department infrastructure is good, but the facilities are not. There are no ACs or projectors. The library is quite good for studying; we can study there without any disturbance. The hostel facility is not good. The food is good compared to other state government colleges in UP, but in the first year, you have to live with four students in a room with only three almirahs. The medical facility is also not good. There is a sports complex, but it is not open yet. There is no support for sports in the college.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful throughout the semester, but some don't care; they only teach in class and then leave. The faculty are very knowledgeable, and their teaching style is very good. The teachers impart a lot of knowledge to the students. Semester exams are not difficult in some subjects, but they are in others. Overall, if you study at least 1 to 2 hours after college, you can easily pass. The pass percentage is around 85% to 90%.
Other: I wanted to pursue CSE, so I chose this college. The best thing about the course is that you get to build some technical projects. There are some events in the college, like Ankuran and Vid Youth, where you can explore extracurricular activities. There are various clubs in the institute that you can join. In terms of scholarships, there is a UP scholarship you can apply for if you are eligible.

Sounds like IT has a good location.
Placements: Placements vary according to the brand; otherwise, placements are okay. Core companies do not have good placements. CS and IT companies have good placements. In semester 3, you can get internship and job opportunities as many companies visit our campus. You cannot expect high packages. The average package offered is 4 LPA. They provide 90% placement.
Infrastructure: The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive for all students, effectively explaining industry standards and embracing trends, covering essential theoretical foundations while interacting with particular applications. In college, my experience is good at that time, and my involvement in the club is not too good, but I participate in the cricket club.
Faculty: The electrical faculty is very bad; the rest are also not so good. Faculty members and teachers are not so cooperative as they only come to complete the syllabus. But some teachers are very good and have deep knowledge in their field. This college is affiliated with AKTU and offers many courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, and MBA.

Satisfied with college, could have been better if there were college fests and more placements.
Placements: Generally, maximum students got placed but not at a very good package. I can say 60-70% of students get placed. The recent highest package is 19 LPA and the lowest is 2.4 LPA, and the average is around 5-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys. Internship opportunities are mostly off-campus. Also, very few students get the opportunity for internships as there is high competition off-campus. Top roles are majorly SDE roles for tech.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, Wi-Fi is there in labs but not in classrooms and library. Hostels are pretty good for 3rd and 4th-year students as they are single-seated, and there is a college canteen. Mess food is also pretty good. Medical facilities are not up to the mark, same with sports.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is also good if you attend class. Course curriculum is relevant as it is the same as what other prominent institutes provide. Semester exams are not that difficult. Pass percentage is approximately 90%.
Other: I chose this course as it was the best I was getting at my rank as I needed computer science. Best thing is it is the same as the regular computer science course. Things could be better if there were some attendance criteria.

Reminiscing is what you will do after you get out; good placement is what you will remember.
Placements: Placements for CSE include a median of 4 Lacs, with max placements being 21 Lacs on campus. As far as off-campus scenes are concerned, students crack a package of even 1 crore. For all circuital branches, very few companies visit on campus, but major of these branches are allowed to sit for IT placements for their CGPA being above 8.0. For core, there's not much scope from this college. Don't know why people graduate from branches like Civil and Chemical.
Infrastructure: Multiple buildings are available for each year students, ranging from 1st year where you get Ramanujan and last year where you get multiple hostels. Moreover, students get sorted from 3rd year onwards. The criterion for students getting sorted for hostels is their CGPA.
Faculty: Top-notch faculty, no complaints regarding faculty. But the only thing this college lags behind its competitors like Harcourt Butler is the co-curriculum. Literally, one won't be able to enjoy one's college if all they expect is fests and freshers because this college literally has nothing to offer in that regard.
Other: CSE, as I mentioned, is particularly the best branch. No fuss for attendance. You literally won't have to take much tension regarding attendance. No proper fests are conducted in this college. There are various clubs in which you can get involved. The peer group would be a bit of UP and Bihar.

Decent college, but not so good crowd and no coding culture.
Placements: Placements are decent, but you have to work hard and focus on academics as well as other skills to get one. The placement in electrical engineering is around 60% and the average package is 8.80 lakh. Top recruiters are Adobe, Anglo Eastern, Bharat Electronics Limited, and GlobalLogic.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not updated. It looks like a college that has never been renovated for a long time. College infrastructure is still okay but the condition of the hostel, especially the boys hostel, is not good. It's a huge task to live in the hostel but the mess food is good but there is only one small canteen in the college.
Faculty: The college faculty is good. The professors are very well qualified and will teach you passionately about the subjects they are teaching. The curriculum is also making the students industry-ready but not fully unless you put some efforts from your side. The semester exams are kind of difficult but if you study then do not need to worry.
