Dissatisfied with the faculty.
Placements: Max. 400 students were enrolled in the course; only 0.1% got placement through college, whereas most of the children found the internship and placement by themselves. Only small startup firms were there to recruit. They are providing basic knowledge of professional skills only, and still students are not getting valuable skills to get placement. Because basic is not enough, it needs to be brought to an intermediate or advanced level.
Infrastructure: The college is efficiently providing the Wi-Fi, labs, and classroom. Also, air and ventilation facilities are being improved. But the quality of the food in the canteen wasn't that good, and they are providing a limited menu of food. The canteen is not completely developed as the area is small. Class timings are very long, due to which we didn't get time to engage in sports and games.
Faculty: Only a few professors were knowledgeable and qualified in teaching. Most of them were not making great efforts to provide education. Also, the course curriculum wasn't relevant that much; it needs to be advanced. It doesn't make industry ready. The semester exams are intermediately tough. Pass percentage is the same for different colleges. At least 50% is required to pass.
Other: The reason for choosing this college and course was to not get selected in NEET. I wish I could invest my time in gaining some useful skills instead of wasting it in the college period. In the name of events, they provide interesting annual festivals only, whereas all other events are boring. General student scholarships are circulated among students only for reserved categories.

Journalism in a institute of home economics - Such a trap!
Placements: The placement cell at the college is quite average, and the overall qualification of students compared to other journalism schools is not competitive. Placement opportunities are minimal, with only 2-3 out of 60 students securing placements.
Infrastructure: The college has a female-dominated student body but lacks modern amenities. Basic necessities like proper benches, tables, and equipment are in poor condition. Only one room is equipped with a projector, and it is also in bad shape. The infrastructure is insufficient for a journalism program that requires advanced facilities.
Faculty: While the teaching quality is inconsistent, with some faculty failing to upskill students, the exams are notably strict. It’s hard to study the entire syllabus as there’s little emphasis on practical learning or improving students’ journalism skills. However, a few qualified faculty members from JMI stand out and are highly competent, which is why I rate the faculty 4 stars, thanks to them.
Other: The overall college experience is frustrating, with little emphasis on productivity and more focus on unhealthy competitiveness.

The college is decent, faculty is helpful. Overall experience was nice.
Placements: The college do not provide any placements for B.Sc. Honours Biochemistry students. None of the student from our batch got placed. Most of them opted either higher education or are preparing for government exams. There is an placement cell but they are not that active.
Infrastructure: The campus is very small. There are two blocks in total. Labs are good, washrooms are clean but some classrooms are big dirty. There is not enough space in Conference room. The canteen is decent. Although the food doesn't taste that good. A lot of network issues are there.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They can help to solve our doubts if we ask them but they don't teach properly. Most of the time classes got cancelled due to the availability of teachers or sometimes they are too busy. They teach mostly from the ppts or their own study material.

Enjoy your college life.
Placements: The percentage of students seeking placement is quite low because you really need connections in this industry. The highest package is 3–4 LPA, the lowest is 1 LPA, and the average is 2–3 LPA.
Haldiram's, Coca-Cola, Nestle, Mother Dairy, FSSAI, etc. are the top recruiters. 60–70% of students got internships at Haldiram's, Mother Dairy, the Quality Council of India, FSSAI, and Nestle.
QA labs, food safety & health, etc. are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is really bad, classrooms are okay but surely a place where you can enjoy your college life, labs are handy, and the library is average.
There should be no hostel, food from the canteen should be improved, medical facilities should be provided properly, and there should be a society for sports and games.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful, knowledgeable, qualified and really good at teaching.
Yes, the course curriculum is relevant but to be industry-ready, there should be more practical knowledge and teaching.
Semester exams are quite handy, exam pattern is really good and the passing percentage is 40% or above.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to explore food with science, and this is the only thing about this course where you really learn about your daily food from the roots. Practical knowledge should really be improved for this course
Events, festivals, and crowds are quite happening at campus, connectivity is effective; and there is high scope for extracurricular activities as well.

Life of students from freshers to graduation.
Placements: In the Institute of Home Economics, various courses are offered, but the placement cell is still not great. Internships are advised and recommended by teachers, and they help students with the same. Roles offered in our course are varied, including podcasting, PR, teaching, journalism, and advice on communication strategies.
Infrastructure: Facilities are average, with an audio room and digital cameras. However, the college has a small campus with small rooms for studying. The hostel situation is worse because there is no hostel; Google shows fake reviews. These fake reviews make a fresher's life different and difficult to manage in a PG.
Faculty: The faculty of this particular course at the college has a mixture of good and bad teachers. Many professors are great, but some are not. Some professors, despite having much experience, are less effective in teaching and sharing their knowledge.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placement.
Placements: There are no placement opportunities or internships available for our course, you only receive a degree. College does not provides because we don't get specialisation in are 3 year graduation. Internship regarding our course. And college does provide internship to other course students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is not very good. The college campus is much smaller compared to other colleges in DU. When it comes to facilities, they are average. The Wi-Fi works decently, but the network exception is poor. However, for the home Science course, there are good labs and classrooms.
Faculty: The teacher are very knowledgeable, but some can be a little bit rude and strict. Additional, some faculty members provide notes, while others do not. This course is relevant for students who want to pursue careers in fashion and textile, food and nutrition, human resources management, and communication development and extension fields. The semester exam are not too difficult to pass, you can easily score well if you study. The passing marks are 36%.
