Dissatisfied with the faculty.
Placements: Max. 400 students were enrolled in the course; only 0.1% got placement through college, whereas most of the children found the internship and placement by themselves. Only small startup firms were there to recruit. They are providing basic knowledge of professional skills only, and still students are not getting valuable skills to get placement. Because basic is not enough, it needs to be brought to an intermediate or advanced level.
Infrastructure: The college is efficiently providing the Wi-Fi, labs, and classroom. Also, air and ventilation facilities are being improved. But the quality of the food in the canteen wasn't that good, and they are providing a limited menu of food. The canteen is not completely developed as the area is small. Class timings are very long, due to which we didn't get time to engage in sports and games.
Faculty: Only a few professors were knowledgeable and qualified in teaching. Most of them were not making great efforts to provide education. Also, the course curriculum wasn't relevant that much; it needs to be advanced. It doesn't make industry ready. The semester exams are intermediately tough. Pass percentage is the same for different colleges. At least 50% is required to pass.
Other: The reason for choosing this college and course was to not get selected in NEET. I wish I could invest my time in gaining some useful skills instead of wasting it in the college period. In the name of events, they provide interesting annual festivals only, whereas all other events are boring. General student scholarships are circulated among students only for reserved categories.

I am satisfied with courses and faculty members but not with placements at this college.
Placements: Placement opportunities are not provided for undergraduates. The placement cell is ineffective. You have to find opportunities.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of our college is average. The canteen and labs are available but the library is small with a limited number of books. Sports and games facilities are not provided. The hostel is not available. Medical facilities are not up to the mark.
Faculty: The curriculum and faculty members are good. Our faculty members are cooperative and qualified in their respective fields. We have a lot of options in terms of PF subjects that won't make you feel that you are a home science student.
Other: If you are looking for a college with good placements then this is not for you.

This college provides great professors.
Infrastructure: This college has a hostel facility, and the hostel fee is affordable. The cafeteria is small as compared to other colleges. It does not provide sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. They focus on every student and provide extra notes and even suggestions. They guide students to work according to their potential. The semester exams are not difficult, if students complete their work on time. Teachers in the communication department are good, and they put a lot of effort, after doing B.Sc. Students can further continue it and become a researcher in the field of communication and extension. If students want to switch lines, then they become a professor by doing a Ph.D.
Other: The best thing about our course is that it is one of the most productive courses, and it gives exposure to other things as well. This college has different societies and one of the best is Eleganza i.e fashion society, and Navrang is the drama society.

Institute of Home Economics is a good option if you are interested in course like home science.
Placements: This college is not very good at offering job placements. The placement cell doesn't work efficiently. Teachers don't seem to be interested in getting students placed. I think less than 10% of students get placements in different companies and not on very good salary packages.
Infrastructure: The library of the college is decent but the overall campus is very small. Classrooms don't give good vibes. Size of classrooms is also very small and benches are not in good condition. There are no air-conditioners, no Wi-Fi, and no smart boards installed in classrooms. They should think about extending the area of the campus.
Faculty: All teachers are qualified enough for the course but not all teachers are helpful and friendly. The course curriculum is relevant but some improvements would be great. Exams are held every semester and on the basis of marks, you can choose different courses.

It is the best DU college which is A accredited by NAAC and has professional courses.
Placements: About 80% of students are placed from our course. The average salary package is Rs.20000 per month. Companies like Nestle, Britannia, etc., and other food companies give us internships. The top roles offered are in food and nutrition which is a high-ranking subject. Other than FN, there are many subjects like RM i.e., interior design, DCE i.e., of journalism kind, FAS i.e., fashion.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi, classrooms, library, and it is well built. Each floor has different departments. The canteen provides us with good food which is healthy, and easy to eat. Our college is accredited by NAAC. The campus is not that big but the aura it has is amazing.
Faculty: Our college is accredited A by NAAC so the teaching quality is always at the best. The pass percentage is 33. Every course has a different passing limit. Semester examinations are not difficult, they are really easy to tackle. Getting admission to this college is worth it.
