There are no placements, but the college has good faculty, infrastructure and surroundings.

Placements: I pursued B.Sc. (Hons.) food technology from Institute of Home Economics. I passed out in 2021. The college didn't provide placements for our batch. Not a single company came for recruitment this year, and no student got placed. We did not even get any internship opportunities from the college.

It is the best college for home science.

Placements: Some students get placed. The fee structure range from Rs. 30,000. Some companies visit the campus for recruitment. Almost 20-30% of the students get internships. It is applicable in human development, human resource management, communication, and fashion. This course is also applicable in social work and radio jockey.

Infrastructure and facilities are good.

Placements: Amity and other private schools are the recruiters for home science students. B.Sc students of the science stream preferred higher education. Almost all students of our batch went for higher education like masters and PhD. Some students got placed in hospitals as microbiologists. The course offered an excellent understanding of the subject, which helped in figuring future prospects.

I am absolutely satisfied with faculty members, good infrastructure and good connectivity.

Placements: Placements and internship opportunities are not provided by our college. Our college has a placement cell, but it will not provide you with companies related to your course. Basically, you have to pursue masters or some higher studies to get placed. Our college provides a nice workshop experience to get to know your subject.

Overall, it is a good college and has amazing faculty members.

Placements: We get internship offers, but they are either unpaid or include marketing. Our seniors said that it is not very good in providing placements. Teachers don't look into recruiting matters. There's a placement cell in college called Eminence and is run by the students themselves.

The faculty are very bad, and there are no placements.

Placements: As of lockdown 2020, the pass outs were not placed in any good company. Most of them got a job on their own, and the others had to go for Masters. People struggle for getting placed into FMCG companies, that's what our course is, but all we get is HR, social media marketing etc.

Review of Institute of Home Economics, University of Delhi.

Placements: The college gives a very good exposure and helps you to develop your self-confidence and personality with all the opportunities. The college should get more recognition than it has now. Teachers help you with internship opportunities and share them with you. There is also a placement cell.

Overall, this college is amazing. The infrastructure and placements are good.

Placements: Many students get placements from our college. In IHE, there is a placement society, which is eminence. In the placement cell, staff members provide placements in reputed companies, and many internships are provided by our teachers. Around 80%-90% of the students get internships in NGOs, schools and companies from here.

I am satisfied with the faculty and events conducted in the college.

Placements: The majority of the students in our batch have opted for further studies, but we got A+ from NAAC, and we got good companies offering jobs on the basis of our skills. In our course, we were offered assistant HR, NGO, interior designer, radio jockey and many other roles.

Satisfying experience and amazing connection with teachers.

Placements: Please look for the fees breakup in additional information given by me. My batchmates didn't apply for placement in any company. Indeed many of them applied for M.Sc. Course in many institutions and some of them waved their paths to government exam preparation. Maximum of us got enrolled in many institutes such as Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Delhi University, University of Hyderabad and many other central universities. I myself got enrolled at BHU. It is not a huge campus, but the teaching is great.

Placements: About 99% of the students from our course got placed. There is no academic percentage issue to get internships. There are all the top courses in our college, and B.A (Hons) journalism is the best course in our college among all courses. Faculty members are good and very friendly with students.

Excellent faculty, good infrastructure and better practical exposure.

Placements: Approximately, 30% of the students were placed from our course, the rest preferred pursuing higher education. Most of the students in the home Science field are placed in organisations such as AIIMS Fab India, MASH Project, Presidium school etc. Internship fair is organised every year in the month of January - February in which maximum students are offered internships at companies like ResuMod, CareerhereFord, India Lost and Found and NGOs such as HamSab, Jazbaa, GreenPeace etc.

Satisfied with the college.

Placements: As it is an undergraduate course, placement is not there. You can try placements externally. Companies will recruit you as it is a demanding course. Biotechnology sector is growing at a fast rate. Companies like Nestle, PepsiCo, pharmaceutical companies will hire you.

It is an average DU college, but the education provided is good.

Placements: After completing bachelor's, students usually need to pursue a master's before they can apply for a placement. Placements offered are usually in colleges as professors or as researchers in hospitals or research labs. Even internships are from hospitals and clinics and not from specific companies.

Lack of Industrial visits is a major drawback. The teaching quality is good but can be improved more

Placements: As B.Sc. students we don't get placement opportunities. The college offers Masters in various courses and the placement rate is good with decent stater packages. Food and nutrition course has the maximum chances of placement followed by fashion department.

Teaching faculty is good but overall campus environment is average.

Placements: No placement is offered particularly in this course by this college. Internships are done on student's self approach. It's better to opt for B.Tech in food technology from any prestigious institute like niftem, Sonipat. B.Tech graduates are more preferred over B.Sc. ones.

Absolutely dissatisfied by infrastructure and facilities, faculty is good and no placements.

Placements: I am from BEL. Ed lll year (batch 2017-21). This is a professional teacher training course of 4 years. As I am doing it from a DU college so clearly DU offers this course. But you have to clear an entrance exam. Mostly students are from Science background as the extrance was mostly 10th based. Also there is a of reservation. Mostly course includes child psychology. After doing this course you can be eligible to become a PRT I. e, you can teach upto 8th class. Also please note that it is a course...
