Placements: The placement cell at the college is quite average, and the overall qualification of students compared to other journalism schools is not competitive. Placement opportunities are minimal, with only 2-3 out of 60 students securing placements.
Placements: There are no placement opportunities or internships available for our course, you only receive a degree. College does not provides because we don't get specialisation in are 3 year graduation. Internship regarding our course. And college does provide internship to other course students.
Placements: There are no placements provided by the college itself. The placement society is also very average and does not come up with good roles according to the course for students. They do send for internships, which are part of the curriculum, to different places but there is no placement opportunity.
Placements: There are many students from my course, as there are not many colleges in Delhi University that have home science. I have not done any internships through college because most of them are in the business sector or marketing, which is not at all related to my skills and interests.
Placements: We don't know about placements because we are in our first year. From Google and our seniors, we learned that there are not many placements. I hope our placement cell will improve.
Placements: I am a third year student of home Science. We have no information about the number of placements through the college cell, so the only way will be to contact them. Further, students have secured their internships by themselves, and most of them look to study their Masters before getting a particular job.
Placements: This college is not very good at offering job placements. The placement cell doesn't work efficiently. Teachers don't seem to be interested in getting students placed. I think less than 10% of students get placements in different companies and not on very good salary packages.
Placements: B.Sc. microbiology is a very good course. In the future, this may give good placements in some of the top companies all around the globe. Not only this, but it may also provide a highly reputed job and can give a good earnings as well. Some of the top roles offered include microbiologist, geneticist, etc.
Placements: There is a placement committee, but there are no placements for food technology students. No good company has visited our college for ages. Placement drives are just for sales and marketing internships. The college will not provide any help in finding internships.
Placements: The course has 5 subjects, and each subject has different jobs to offer like nutrition students can become dieticians, human development students can go in the field of counseling, resource management students can go in the field of RM, management textile students can go in the field of textiles, and communication students can go in the field of journalism communication.
Placements: I am a student of the batch 2018-2021 in the B.Sc. (Hons.) in Food Technology course. Placements are not good in this course. Companies do not visit the college for placements, and from our batch, not even a single person get placed in any company. This course is very great, but you have to find work on your own as the college is not good for placements for this particular course. For other courses, they still bring companies for placements.
Placements: I pursued B.Sc. (Hons.) food technology from Institute of Home Economics. I passed out in 2021. The college didn't provide placements for our batch. Not a single company came for recruitment this year, and no student got placed. We did not even get any internship opportunities from the college.
Placements: About 80% of the students in our course got placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. Students of our college got jobs in good companies, and even they did internships. The college offers various course offers like fashion designing, food and nutrition and resource management.
Placements: I am from BEL. Ed lll year (batch 2017-21). This is a professional teacher training course of 4 years. As I am doing it from a DU college so clearly DU offers this course. But you have to clear an entrance exam. Mostly students are from Science background as the extrance was mostly 10th based. Also there is a of reservation. Mostly course includes child psychology. After doing this course you can be eligible to become a PRT I. e, you can teach upto 8th class. Also please note that it is a course...
Placements: The placement cell of our college is active only for home science students. We don't have any opportunities in our profile. Companies like HealthifyMe, Breakthrough India, ALP Solution, Sarvahitey, etc., visit the campus for placements. Students are offered the role of counselling, sales, working for NGOs, nutrition expert and apparel profiles. There is a placement cell in our college. Many companies visited the campus this year. If you want to pursue home science, then placements here are good.
Placements: Many students in the college got internships, but placements were not that good. Hardly 2-3 companies visited the campus for placements and offered the highest salary of Rs. 10,000 per month. Also, students have to get experience on their own, but it wasn't mandatory to do an internship. Roles of lab assistant were offered to students.
Placements: The college do not provide any placements for B.Sc. Honours Biochemistry students. None of the student from our batch got placed. Most of them opted either higher education or are preparing for government exams. There is an placement cell but they are not that active.
Placements: Placements were not offered in our college and not even in the second year. I did not get an internship in our course. None of the companies visited here for placements because of the pandemic. It was a very bad experience for me. I think none of the students got an internship from our college, especially from our course.
