NEET MDS 2025 exam date has been announced for IMS BHU admission to the MDS and PG Diploma (Dental) courses. The NEET MDS 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on Jan 31, 2025.
A few more updates are given below:
- The NEET PG 2024 Counselling Round 3 registrations are ongoing for admission to the MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses, and the last date to register has been extended to Jan 22, 2025. Further, the seat allotment results are scheduled to be displayed on Jan 25, 2025.
- The CUET PG registration process 2025 is open for admission to PG courses, and the last date to register is Feb 1, 2025. Further, the CUET PG 2025 exam will be scheduled between Mar 13, 2025 and Mar 31, 2025.
- The CUET UG registration process 2025 for admission to UG courses will commence tentatively during the last week of Feb 2025. The CUET UG 2025 exam dates will be announced soon.
- NEET UG counselling 2024 has concluded after the declaration of Special Stray Vacancy Round 3 seat allotment result for admission to the MBBS course. For the next academic year, the NEET UG 2025 exam is expected to be conducted on May 4, 2025.
- The AIAPGET 2025 registration process for admission to MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses will begin in May 2025.

IMS BHU Admission Process and Important Dates 2024
IMS BHU admission is based on merit and entrance exams. Admission to various courses is based on the scores of entrance exams. For courses such as MBBS/ BDS, the NEET UG examination is taken into consideration and the institute accepts the scores of NEET PG, CUET, NEET MDS, and others. Candidates must get themselves enrolled with the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) to register themselves for the counseling process. IMS BHU admission requires a minimum aggregate of 50% in Class 12 (PCB). Furthermore, they must qualify NEET UG for their category that is, OBC/ General/ EWS. As per the records of the last few years, eligible candidates can be allotted IMS BHU, after the second round of All India Counseling. The application process is conducted through online mode.

IMS BHU Popular Programmes 2024
MBBS can be considered a popular program among many programmes that IMS BHU offers. It is offered at the UG- level for 100 students through full-time mode. The IMS BHU’s MBBS course was ranked 6 by India Today in the year 2021. The minimum eligibility criteria for the general category entail 50% in Class 12 (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English) from a recognised board. However, 85% of the total seats are filled through state-level counselling and for the remaining seats, All India Centralised Counselling is conducted based on the NEET ranks obtained. For 5 years, a candidate is likely to spend INR 1.49 Lakh on tuition fees. As per the stats of placements, the median salary hikes to INR 15 Lakh. IMS BHU Application Process 2024
IMS BHU admission process for courses such as MBBS, BSc Nursing, BOT, BPT, and many more require eligibility criteria of minimum aggregate after Class 12 along with the entrance exams. Candidates must register for the admission process through the entrance exam portals. A majority of courses require NEET exam results to achieve admission at IMS BHU.
Here are some steps to register for admission to the MBBS course.
Step I- Candidates must apply for the NEET UG entrance exam via the official website of NTA NEET.
Step II- After the registration for the entrance exam, candidates must register in the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) portal. This portal is for candidates to be eligible for the 85% AIQ seat counseling process.
Step III- During the time of registration, candidates must mention IMS BHU when choosing a college/university. Based on the cut-off rank, candidates will receive the allotment of IMS BHU.
Step IV- Pay the admission fee and complete the process of registration/application, respectively.

IMS BHU Faculty 2024
BHU has 16 faculties and 135 departments in total, among which IMS BHU has 3 faculties, Medical, Ayurveda, and Dental Science. Among these 3 faculties, 4 departments are of Dentistry, 11 are of Ayurveda, 10 are of Super-Specialty, and 33 are from Modern Medicine. The IMS faculty in total comprises of 300+ faculty members, the majority of which are PhD scholars. It also comprises of associate professors and assistant professors.
IMS BHU Student Life and Culture
IMS BHU organises several seminars, workshops, and exhibitions for students to gain more experience on the academic front. It organises department fest and literary days to change the pace and air of the Institution from time to time. BHU on its end, organises annual fests and events on the University level which every department can be a part of.
BHU holds several culture-oriented events and youth festivals. It also organises sports events and owns sports facilities to cater to the same.
IMS BHU Departments
IMS Banaras consists of 3 faculties that cater via different sets of departments. The faculty of Dental Science, Ayurveda, and Medicine provide 50+ specialisations through the departments present in these faculties.
