NEET MDS 2025 exam date has been announced for IMS BHU admission to the MDS and PG Diploma (Dental) courses. The NEET MDS 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on Jan 31, 2025.

The NEET PG 2024 Counselling Round 3 registrations are ongoing for admission to the MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses, and the last date to register has been extended to Jan 22, 2025. Further, the seat allotment results are scheduled to be displayed on Jan 25, 2025.
The CUET PG registration process 2025 is open for admission to PG courses, and the last date to register is Feb 1, 2025. Further, the CUET PG 2025 exam will be scheduled between Mar 13, 2025 and Mar 31, 2025.

IMS BHU Highlights 2024

The Institute of Medical Sciences BHU, was established in the year 1960. It began with 10 departments, with 9 in Modern Medicine and 1 in Indian Medicine. After 3 years of establishment, the Institute began postgraduate medical education as an in-service program by the year 1963. The introduction of a formal training program converted the College of Medical Sciences into the Institute of Medical Sciences by the year 1971.

As per the NIRF 2024, BHU ranks 7 in the Medical category and 17 in the Dental category. It is approved by the Medical Council of India.

IMS has three faculties (Medicine, Ayurveda, and Dental Sciences) and is one of the 6 institutes of Banaras Hindu University. The Institute owns 10 departments of super-specialties, 33 departments of Modern Sciences, 4 departments of Dentistry, and 11 departments of Ayurveda. IMS BHU admission process for courses such as MBBS, BSc Nursing, BOT, BPT, and many more require eligibility criteria of minimum aggregate after Class 12 along with the entrance exams. Candidates must register for the admission process through the entrance exam portals. A majority of courses require NEET exam results to achieve admission at IMS BHU.
