Review giving on college - ITER, SOA.
Placements: College Placement is decent. Students get eligible as soon as they meet the company's job criteria. However, normally it's the 7th semester when students start job hunting. Companies like Microsoft, along with other mass recruiters, visit the college. The highest package offered this year was 54 lakhs from Microsoft. Almost 70-80% of students are placed every year. I also hope to land a good job after getting the degree.
Infrastructure: There are 12 boys' hostels. I am not sure about the girls' hostels. There are AC and non-AC types (typically 3 sharing). The rent for a 3-sharing non-AC room is 94,000 (hostel and mess). There are 2 and 4 sharing rooms also available. The mess is compulsory and cannot be excluded if the hostel is opted.
Faculty: There are many faculty members for each and every department who are well-qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. In one semester, there are two exams to pass, and the passing percentage is 40. Exams aren't difficult; they are based on what is taught in class and the assignments given to the students.
Other: I disliked that no events happened here.

Satisfied, good faculty, good placements, nil events, good infrastructure.
Placements: Maximum students are placed in good companies. CTC might be lower. Utmost 90% were placed. The average package is around 5-6 LPA and somewhat is good for beginners. Top recruiters were Microsoft, Amazon, JP Morgan, Cisco, etc. Top roles were of software developer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi isn't that fast in hostels. All hostel rooms have separate Wi-Fi. Infrastructure for classes is good. Smart boards are available. Internet is connected via LAN to computers in the lab. Speed is good. Quality of food is sometimes good and bad but average.
Faculty: Teachers are good. Sometimes helpful but not always. Teachers are all qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is also good. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant. It does make the students industry-ready. End-semester exams are difficult and the passing percentage is average.
Other: No events here. No space to conduct such.

Satisfied with the faculty members, okay placements, and infrastructure.
Placements: This information is for 2024 batch passouts. The percentage shown of selection is always around 80–90%, the reason being that they want you to have an 8.5 CGPA+ in 7-semester aggregate to sit for good company placement and for Microsoft and Amazon-type companies, you need 9+. If there are still more students, they will shortlist you based on your 12th grade percentage. The highest package is 42 LPA from Microsoft. People also get 20–30, but less than 10. Most are below 20, and all have an average of 4.5 LPA. About internships, around 100–200 companies come. This year's batch was definitely affected by the recession but it still managed to call around 100–200 companies. The top roles offered are SDE, consultant, assistant engineer, few for Testers and analyst.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is okay. Classrooms are cleaned every day and have AC in each classroom. The library too has AC but recently rules were made that you can't access Wi-Fi in the library on the 3rd floor and are only allowed with laptops and no phones. A medical facility is there and an ambulance is available 24*7. The quality of food is okay. For sports, you have a basketball court, a volleyball court and a cricket net. Even Kabaddi is there. And for indoors, you've got chess, carrom, and table tennis.
Faculty: I can't say all teachers are well qualified. But there are some teachers who're IIT-qualified, NIT qualified and Ph.D. holders. Teachers who've got knowledge teach well but there are some who just read from their notes and make us write. So don't expect much; keep your YouTube ready. The college is open from Monday to Saturday. And there are two exams: one midterm and the other end term. Apart from that, you'll have quizzes. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I had other options. The main reason for choosing CSE at this college is the timing. It's only for 4-5 hours for the 1st year and I heard it goes up to 6 hours in the 2nd year. But every day, this is to the higher and lower ends; you'll have 3 hours of class a day. The best thing about this course is its curriculum; it's up to par, or, if I should say, above average. I wish they removed 12th subjects from the first year itself. Keep math as an important letter but remove physics and keep a core subject in CSE. Events happen, but no fests.

College infrastructure is extremely good, and professors and faculty members are really helpful.
Placements: New companies are coming every year and offer decent packages. Almost 80% placement success rate happens every year. Maruti Suzuki, a top automobile industry company, is recruiting us and providing a high package of around 15-20 LPA with a bonus every year.
Infrastructure: Classrooms have smartboards, not all, but the majority have them. Labs have the latest computers and high-speed Wi-Fi connections. Every classroom has cameras, and the class benches are in decent condition to sit. Libraries are also there to help, and every possible book is available.
Faculty: Teaching quality is really good. Teachers are well-qualified and skillful. Professors provide industry visits for better exposure and knowledge. The course is really relevant, and the teaching quality is up to the point. Semester exams are a little bit tough based on preparation.
Other: There is no fest. Extracurricular activities are really amazing to take part in.

Absolutely satisfied because of good placement and facilities.
Placements: Maximum number of students in every year placed in different companies, likely 95% of placed in every batch. There are numbers of students placed in suitable jobs. The highest package is about 46 L, average 9-10 L. Many more students do internships in different areas.
Infrastructure: In each and every class, there is Wi-Fi, and also in labs and library, well-maintained. There is about 13 boys' hostels, and in each and every hostel, there is Wi-Fi facility, and very neat and clean. The quality of food is very good, and there is 4 days a week non-veg.
Faculty: Faculty members are very cooperative and punctual. They are well-qualified and solve our doubts. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes us industry-ready. It is not much more difficult in semester exams. The faculty is very helpful, and about 100% students pass every year.
Other: I chose mechanical engineering because, in this field, I think this college is very well for me. I think it is best for mechanical engineering. There are also scholarships and many more activities happen here like fests and other events.

Good for studies and placements. Bad for college life.
Placements: 100% placed in our course. The highest package was 12 Lacs CTC. The average package is 4-5 Lacs. Top recruiting companies are Maruti Suzuki, Arcelor Mittal, Tata Steel, Infosys, Microsoft, Accenture, Mint Media. Internships in power plants like GMR and Tata Steel. Top roles: None.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are rather small. They do have the necessary requirements like projectors and smart boards for the smooth functioning of the class. The library is big and has most of the books required for an average college student. Mess food is below average. Medical facilities are available here. An ambulance is always present on campus.
Faculty: Faculty is good, especially for our course. Very supportive and helpful. The professors are knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is good. The curriculum is very much updated. The semester exams are okay. Yes, the course curriculum makes the students industry-ready, with the course getting updated every year.
Other: I chose this course due to my interest in automobiles. Being in a core branch, I am also getting coding education from my course. Campus and events could have been better in my college. No scholarships are available through the college. Extracurricular activities include clubs and events inside the college.
