B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2022
4.2

Satisfied with infrastructure and faculty.
Placements: There is a college recruitment training program. 50-80% of students get placed in the campus placements. Top recruiting companies like Wipro, TCS, Capgemini, and Tech Mahindra visit our college. Top roles such as data analyst, data scientist, and data engineer are recruited.
Infrastructure: There is good infrastructure in our college. There are well-equipped labs and digitalized classrooms. The labs have high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity. Hostel facilities are available on campus for both boys and girls. There are separate blocks for boys, which can accommodate more than 500 students, and the girls' hostel can accommodate over 300 students. Medical facilities and a cafeteria are available.
Faculty: JBIEIT's curriculum is broad based and includes core subjects like mathematics, science, and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum also includes the humanities and social sciences. It is not that difficult to pass the semester exams. Faculty will give guidance in each and every aspect.
Other: JBIEIT hosts cultural events and festivals. There are many extracurricular activities in the college. The campus is surrounded by lush greenery. The college has separate clubs for each aspect; for example, for event hosting, SAC will conduct programs. There is a separate sports club for the participants.

B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science - Batch of 2022

Good, satisfied with the faculties, infrastructure, and there are good placements in the year 2024.
Placements: In our college, over 50% of students get placed through campus selection. Companies like Amazon, Deloitte, and TCS visit our college for recruiting students. 80% of students will get internships in our college. The average package is between 4 LPA to 25 LPA. The college provides training for campus recruitments.
Infrastructure: Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, has a department that consists of fully equipped labs with good internet facilities. Digital classrooms are provided. The library can also be accessed anytime in the college. The hostel food is good; they provide breakfast, lunch, dinner, and tea, milk, and snacks in the evening. There is a sports club in our college where every department's students participate.
Faculty: Our teachers are very good. They are mostly postgraduates, doctorates, and Ph.D. holders from top universities. They help us in building good careers. There will be 2 semesters for every year. Each semester we will have exams, but they are not that difficult. We will have different subjects in each semester. 95% of the students pass these exams.
Other: I have chosen this course because in this current market there is a big demand for data scientists and data analysts. There will be more events and cultural activities in the college. Scholarships will be provided by the state government, that is, fee reimbursement.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2027

Hostel food is the worst. The infrastructure is good.
Placements: Over 400 placements were achieved this year, and students were initially satisfied with their placements. But, we came to know that the placements were only for call center jobs. We were disappointed after realizing the truth that the placements were not for software roles.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not excellent, but it is okay. Campus hostel infrastructure is manageable. No Wi-Fi is available. Hostel facilities are inadequate. Mess is completely disorganized, with no proper food provided. Canteen food is the worst. There is no time allocated for sports or games.
Faculty: Faculty members are okay, and many exams are conducted. Four unit tests, two mid-exams, internals, and externals are all organised to enhance students scope. Regarding exams, it is manageable because these frequent exams help students gain knowledge.
Other: Things that should be improved are that students should be given time for fests.

The feel is high, but I suggest it is not worth joining this college.
Placements: As per placements, in 100%, maybe 45 to 55% are placed. The highest package is 14 LPA, the average package is 3.5 to 5 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 to 3 LPA. Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Technovert, Eidiko, and Cognizant are some of the top recruiters. As for internships, the college is offering some companies for learning purposes, where we can select our domain and do internships, minor and major projects, reviews, documentation, etc. This is to help students prepare for the future and gain experience. Top roles include data scientist, machine learning engineer, data analyst, AI engineer, and business analyst.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very nice, and the outlook of the college is satisfactory. However, when it comes to faculty, I don’t think they teach well. The classrooms are okay, but there is no one to take care of them. For the library, there is a fee to go and some cards required. When it comes to facilities, drinking water is good, and there is a football court, cricket ground, and every week there is a sports period. There are also many clubs where you can introduce your ideas and participate in their programs. It’s a great platform to overcome stage fear. However, the washrooms are messy and uncomfortable. The canteen is one of the worst places, as nothing is required there and the food tastes the worst. As for medical facilities, we have a hospital inside, so there is no tension about that.
Faculty: Actually, teachers are not going to say anything. It’s a waste of time to depend on them. It's a big no because they never take care of students. Moreover, GATE classes are there, but they don’t care when they come or go—they just check IDs. The semester exams are tough, and even though it is autonomous, the pass percentage is 9.5%.
Other: The main reason for selecting this course is that its impact in the future is more. I wish to have good faculty, knowledgeable faculty with a sense of time.

Satisfied by the infrastructure.
Placements: Our college provides great placements with a percentage of 50-80% of placements and an average annual package of 4 LPA to 8 LPA. The top course offered by our college is Computer Science and Engineering. Top companies that are recruiting include Wipro, Tech Mahindra, TCS, and others.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is good and provides a wide range of labs with full equipment, offering a great experience. Our college gives high priority to every sport that a student shows interest in and provides good equipment to the students.
Faculty: Our college provides great faculty, and the staff has a good relationship with the students, without any egos, and helps in every aspect where students need faculty help. The semester exams are not harder than we expected; there are only one or two subjects that are harder.

Some good things and some bad things.
Placements: My batch is 2023 and the branch is Computer Science Engineering. The average package of the college is 5 LPA, and every student got good packages in my college. 85% of my college students got jobs. The college is very good.
Infrastructure: My college infrastructure is somewhat bad, and the college maintenance is also not good. Medical facilities are sometimes available and sometimes not, but the medicines are good. The college hostel is good, but the facilities of the hostel are not good.
Faculty: My college staff are not good; some teachers do not teach well, and the quality of education is also not good. The course curriculum is also of medium level for the students, and the semester exams are very hard for the students. It is very difficult for the students to pass the exams.
