Absolutely satisfied with the college and faculty. Good placements with handsome package.

Placements: Placements are moderately good. Quite a few big organisations come for placement. Hr jobs though are not as well paid as marketing or finance. But it has to do with the nature of the feild and demand. If you want to pursue hr it better to go somewhere with separate hr course. If you are going for finance, it help if you have B.Com and ECONOMICS specialisation. Recruiters not always prefer people with Science background and finance specialisation. In marketing most jobs are sales related.

The college had the best faculty members especially the guest faculty members.

Placements: The placements are decent as students usually get placed irrespective of academics. So, an average package was around 5-6 lacs per annum with the highest around 9 lacs per annum. Last year, more than 80% students got placed by now, and the number is going to increase in the remaining time left.

It is a good college if you really want to study.

Placements: Approximately 90% of students got placed in hotel management. Top 5 star hotels visit our campus for recruitment. All the students do their internship if they want a job. In hotel management the lowest salary offered was Rs. 10,000 per month. I don't know about the highest salary offered to the students. The average stipend offered was Rs. 1,000 for 1 month. The stipend offered is pretty less.

Really good faculty and good atmosphere to utilize.

Placements: The placement cell of the economics department was not active and no companies came for economics honours students in our college. We had to go in central placement cell (CPC) which is the common placement platform for all DU students to apply for placement.

My review is all about the college. It is average, and they were trying to improve everything.

Placements: The limited number of companies visits the college. Most of them are from marketing which offers selling job. For international business, the student's logistic companies also came, but for finance, very fewer companies visited which provided mainly backend jobs. Around 60 percent students were placed in placements.

An MBA student's experience at JIMS

Placements: Placements are the key and the ultimate achievement an MBA aspirant looks for. Placement % in my college was between 90-95%. Rest students pursued their interest in their family business (self-employed). The highest package offered was 7-8 lakhs and the minimum offered was 2.5 lakhs. The average offered was 4-5 lakhs. Roles that came in were of finance, HR, sales and marketing.
