It is a good college, and every new student can take advantage of its good facilities.
Placements: Placements in our college are great. Top companies like Accenture, Wipro, and Mu Sigma have come to our college. Almost all students get placed from our college. About 90% of students get placed. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA and the lowest is 4.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. We have good classrooms, labs, offices, etc. We have a huge library in our college where all types of books are available. Every student can go to the library and do their work or read books. The computer lab is good, with good computers and lab assistants.
Faculty: We have very good and knowledgeable lecturers who assist students at their best. The curriculum is that of VTU, which is good.
Other: Our college has value for money. Campus life is also good. We have a fest every year in which we have sports day, DJ night, dance and music competitions, etc.

Review of Jain College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: About 40-50 students were placed from all branches, especially from CS. Other branches had fewer offers compared to them. Companies like Infosys, TCS, and Wipro approached our college. The salary package offered was 2 LPA to 4 LPA. Internships are rare. Mostly, less famous companies approach this college but you can do internships off campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not good. The college was built in 2014-15 but the walls are cracked and there is water leakage in classrooms. The building has three floors but only one water purifier is available.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and qualified. The course doesn't make students completely industrial-ready, but to some extent, it makes them. Semester exams are difficult. Exams are mostly tough to pass. You needed to study hard and teachers also need to help students a little more.
Other: I chose this course because of family pressure. Events conducted in our college are good. Campus life is somewhat fine. The surrounding is good. It is a good college but needs a lot of improvement in the future to stay in the education business.

Although our college may not be the best, it's still a solid institute with its own strengths.
Placements: As per my knowledge, at most 60% of the students studying in our college have been recruited; some percentage of students aren't interested in the college pool campus drives. The highest package received from my branch (Mechanical) was 7.25 lakhs per annum, which was offered by Intellipaat.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average. You won't be getting a lot of exciting things on campus, as the location of our college is on the outskirts of the city. Apart from this, labs and classrooms have a nice ambient environment. The library also holds the largest number of books, articles, research papers, etc. Regarding hostel facilities, our college doesn't own any hostel, and there are no hostels in the surrounding area. If a student needs a hostel, they may find one inside the city.
Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful, both in education and personal matters. Almost all the professors are well qualified and hold PhDs. They gain knowledge about the curriculum in detail, preparing us for industrial standards. They may get us ready to a level above that, but we would still need to learn from our personal experiences. The level of semester exams is comparable to those of other colleges, though the passing percentage is quite average. At least 65% of students pass on their first attempts, while the remaining students write backlog exams and pass them in one or two attempts.
Other: As I had completed my Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, I chose this path to complete my B.Tech. Learning mechanical engineering enables one to acquire all the skills required for any profession, and it is said that mechanical engineering is a universal branch. Regarding improvements to the course, I would like the management to hire specialists to handle students with backlogs, as those students are often unaware and lack the basic knowledge to pass the subject. Every year, our college holds inter-college fests and many extracurricular activities, such as Hackathon, Vibhavv, Sports Day, etc.

I am highly satisfied with all the facilities, infrastructure, and placements.
Placements: College has achieved a placement rate of 85% with both internal and external college interviews and sources. Other course graduates have a placement rate of 80%. The highest salary package is 6 LPA and the lowest salary package is 4 LPA. Wipro, Infosys, Mindtree, Chegg, Pinclick, Capgemini, Accenture, Emphasis, HCL, TCS, L&T, DXC Technologies offer placements. We have a dedicated placement officer who ensures all students get placed and internships with the help of industry links and experience. College offers on-campus interviews for all students in their final year in local startups and companies like TCS, Infosys, etc. It gives students industry experience. Top roles offered are a front-end app developer, back-end app developer, back-end website manager, tech and IT consultant, lead project manager, computer maintenance engineer, IT administrator, ethical hacker, cybersecurity consultant, front-end website developer, customer support executive, and many other positions.
Infrastructure: College has recently started with 2 graduating batches. Campus is very new and built 5 years ago. All the classes have new unused benches with neat and clean classes with a new blackboard. There are multiple computer labs with very new computers with the latest software and configurations. It has 2 high-speed JIO Wi-Fi for all the students and staff. College has a high-tech, well-maintained, and greatly equipped library with computers, e-stations, and books for all courses and branches. It has a newspaper corner to keep students informed on the latest news. Library has great seating arrangements for all the students. Bathrooms are well maintained and very clean and have water for use. College provides a free bus facility with an area-wise pick and drop service. College has a fleet of 5 buses that transport students and staff to all possible nearby locations and areas. There are separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls with high-speed Airtel Wi-Fi with clean toilets and well-maintained bathrooms. Food provided is home cooked and tested by the cooks. Hostel staff including the warden are close to the students and provide support like guardians in the absence of parents. Food is prepared and menu is changed and updated as per student feedback, requests, and reviews. Canteen provides inexpensive food to the students with great varieties. It has friendly staff. There is a small medical room on the top-most floor of the college equipped to give first aid to the students. There are regular annual sports meets and games conducted to keep the students active. There is an annual event of culture and dance along with a fun week to keep students and staff engaged.
Faculty: Teachers along with the office staff are very helpful. HODs in all the departments hold Ph.D. in their respective fields. They are highly enthusiastic and approachable with my favorite being CSE HOD and mathematics HOD. Syllabus and extra courses provided to students makes them industry-ready and an expert in their field. College has specialisations in the course of choice which is well tailored to students interests. This makes it very helpful, relevant, and interesting. College is affiliated with VTU. It has a pass percentage of 90%. Exams are moderately difficult. To filter out upcoming graduates and engineers to be industry experts to provide the world with the best.
Other: I chose this course to become a well-paid IT specialist in the future as our country is in a phase of a technological boom. College is new in its stages of development and dominance. It has received a lot of suggestions and feedback that they have considered, applied, and implemented with the help of experts. Campus crowd is very positive and motivated with supportive staff and seniors who treat us like their siblings and provide assistance, guidance, and valuable advice at times. There are a lot of extracurricular activities along with annual sports and cultural events. College assists students to apply and avail government-funded scholarships to all its students.

It's been 4 years since the college started so the placements need to be improved.
Placements: About 80% in total students have been placed. The highest package is about 6.5 LPA and the lowest is about 3.5 LPA. The companies include Wipro, Infosys, Mindtree, Chegg and many others.
Infrastructure: Classes and library are well maintained. Quality of education is provided. Canteen facilities are available, Girl's hostel is available and there isn't hostel for boys. Sports and games are arranged.
Faculty: Quality education with experienced faculty is provided. The semester is very difficult, one needs to study well for not failing the subject. Try to pass with min of 35 marks. The course is of 4 years, 8 semesters. Branches include CS Civil, EC, Mechanical, etc.
Other: I chose this course as I was from CS background.

It is a good option to choose this college. Placements are above average.
Placements: Our college provides good placements in the early 7th semester. The average package varies between 5 and 6 LPAs. College starts at morning 8:30 and ends at evening 4:30. Good companies are coming to hire the students, and the companies also offer internships. The college is located a little bit far from Hubli.
Infrastructure: The college is built with good infrastructure and provides the required facilities. There is no hostel on the college side. There is a canteen on the college campus. They provide a free college bus facility. They have six college buses. Exams are strictly conducted. Good infrastructure.
Faculty: All department faculty members are friendly with students. They are good teachers. They teach relevant topics with some extra topics. When the exams are conducted, the faculty members control the class very strictly. Faculty members teach the subjects in an easily understandable way.
Other: I like this course because I am interested in it. I have to improve my coding skills. They conduct a fest, i.e., VAIBHAV fest.
