James College of Engineering and Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:
CoursesEligibility
M.E./M.TechCandidate must have completed B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent in relevant stream. Candidate belonging to reserved category must have 45% in qualifying examination. Candidate who have completed 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years Diploma + AMIE are also eligible. AMIE candidate must have 2 years regular full time experience in the relevant field. Candidates with B.E./B.Tech. degrees obtained through Distance/Weekend mode are not eligible. Candidates with degree obtained without studying 10th/12th Std. or 3 years degree programme are not eligible. Candidates appearing for the final semester/year are also eligible.
MBA/PGDMCandidate must have completed Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration with minimum 50% (45 % for reserved category). The qualifying degree examination can be 10+2+3/4/5 years pattern or 10+3 years Diploma +3 years pattern or B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch./B.Pharm. or 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years Diploma + AMIE. AMIE candidate must have 2 years regular full time experience in the relevant field. Candidates admitted through Lateral Entry in degree courses are not eligible. Candidates with degree obtained without studying 10th/12th Std. or 3 years degree programme are not eligible. Candidates appearing for the final semester/year are also eligible.
B.E. / B.TechCandidate must have passed Diploma in relevant stream from a recognised Institute.

Placements: We are provided with the placement from a production core company. The company Was quite good and we get a good experience there. We are provided with a placement training where we can get a better knowledge about the placement. Aptitude Question and reasoning Question are practiced in our session of placement.
Infrastructure: The College is provided with a Good environment and Neat classrooms. The library is neat and tidy arranged with Several number of useful books. Having a wide play ground at the centre. Provided with a neat hostel room. The environment here is completely fine and it provides us a green nature.
Faculty: This college provides a well knowledge staffs who are having minimum 3 years of experience. Curriculum is good and the College provides a decent way of teaching. English is mandatory here and they possesses a easy way of communication. Faculty provides us with their best knowledge.
Other: Scholarship available for Minority Students. Provided with Indoor games and the College day celebration is quite good at regular intervals.

Other: Worst college, if there is any minus rating, I will surely hit that button. They are very tricky people. They will give RS 20,000 to agents who brought you there. Don’t fall in their promises, even the prospectus is fake. There are no permanent lecturers and internal evaluation is not proper. I am from Kerala, I feel discrimination from some teachers, and they show more empathy towards Tamil students in every possible way. There was no placement programme, career assistance, project assistance, no industry-linked programmes, no exhibitions, industry visit, no paper presentation, no case studies and nothing that can stimulate interpersonal skill needed by a management graduate. Plus points: good hostel and food, good library (no E library). Joining this college will put your future in a black hole.

It is a perfect college for students to fulfil their dreams.
Placements: Almost 60% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. The top recruiting company of our college is Microsoft. Top roles offered to the students are manager and HR. In our course, the highest salary offered is 1 lac per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. Almost 70% of the students got an internship.
Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure, nature and green covered place. Hostel food is very good and delicious. The library is very good, and there are many books. Classrooms have decent looks, and there is more speciality like Wi-Fi connection is always available that you can use at any time. It is a very good college and campus with lush green and natural place.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable. The course makes students industry-ready. Teachers are very friendly, and they are very helpful in students studies. This college is awesome, and it is a very good college in Kanyakumari district. It is a perfect college for engineering and master of business.
Other: I have chosen this course because an MBA is the best course for the future. It always improves. All events and fests are conducted here. It is the best college in Kanyakumari with good and friendly teachers.
