A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

The infrastructure of this institute is well designed and huge.
Placements: From a batch almost 85-90% of students are placed in my course. The packages offered to the students of this course ranges from 1.2 - 4.5 lacs per annum. Students apply for various internships including the government companies like BSNL and online internships are offered that saves time.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this institute is well designed and huge. The college campus is neat and clean throughout the week. Even the parking lots are arranged separately for the girls, boys and staff. The library consists of numerous books to refer and study.
Faculty: The lecturers are highly experienced and qualified in their fields. They are very friendly and supportive. Proper guidance and attention is given to each student. The doubts are always cleared by the lecturers no matter how many times you raise them.
Other: This course is highly demanding in today's era. There are lots of opportunities for jobs and success in this field. The institute arranges various co-curricular and cultural activities like euphoria, sports week, Ganesh Utsav, etc.

Library and infrastructure are good in our college.
Placements: Our college provided campus placements, but only 30% of the students got placed in good companies. Very less big scale companies visited the college for placements until now. Only students initiate the internship programme, which should be initiated by the college.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure and good staff members, but I am not satisfied with the placements. The canteen is not that much good, but the library is well managed by librarians. All the labs are well organised here. Many sports events are also organised by our college for students and staff members.
Faculty: Teachers here are really helpful, and our college is organised well. All the staff members in the ENTC department are well experienced and knowledgeable.
Other: Our college conducts technical events and cultural events in which students get the opportunity to build the confidence to improve their talent. As I have an interest in the core field, I chose the ENTC course, which helps me to improve my knowledge.

I'm totally dissatisfied with the placements and fee structure of our college.
Placements: Placements in our college are very bad. Only 18 out of the 59 students of our batch are placed till now. Only 27 to 30% of the students from our senior batch were placed. The highest salary package offered was 2.40 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.20 LPA. Companies like TBSS, TCS, and Accenture visited the campus, but it was of no use as they selected students and asked them to pay some amount for training. There are no internship opportunities in this college. Students who were willing to do internships have not been able to get one. There is a nominal placement cell, and it is not useful at all. They are not efficient.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available, but its speed is just 30 Kbps. Furniture in the classrooms is broken. A doctor is available on the campus during college hours. Quality of labs is very poor, and most of the instruments are not in a working condition. PCs present in the IT lab are not working. Hostel rooms are good, and they are regularly cleaned. Food provided in the canteen is the worst, and one must not even try to eat there. The infrastructure of our college except classrooms and labs is good.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members in our college are helpful. All the faculty members are qualified but are not able to explain things. Faculty members use PPTs throughout the term for teaching. The student to faculty ratio is 30:1. We didn't get any industry exposure. The course curriculum is not useful.
Other: The college conducts an annual function called Euphoria. Other small events are also organised by various forums. Ganpati festival is celebrated every year. Gokart and Baja are the only useful event in this college.

Effectiveness of Placement Cell for BE/BTech Courses at Jawaharlal Darda Institute of Engineering and Technology

Based on the reviews and feedback provided by students and alumni, here's an overview of the effectiveness of the placement cell for BE/BTech courses at Jawaharlal Darda Institute of Engineering and Technology:

* Placement Opportunities: About 70-75% of students get placed every year. (Source: Multiple reviews)
* Company Profiles: While the number of companies visiting the college is increasing, the profiles of the companies may not match the expectations of the college. (Source: Reviews)
* Salary Packages: The highest salary package offered is INR2.50 LPA, while the lowest is INR1.20 LPA. (Source: Reviews)
* Internship Opportunities: Unfortunately, the college does not provide any internship opportunities, leaving students to find their own. (Source: Review)
* Faculty Support: The faculty members involved in the placement cell are very helpful and assist students in preparing for placements. (Source: Review)

However, some concerns raised by students and alumni include:

* Limited Company Visits: Few huge-scale companies visit the college for placements. (Source: Review)
* Poor Placements: Around 40% of students get placed in good companies, indicating a lack of strong connections with prominent employers. (Source: Review)
* Lack of Industry Exposure: Some students felt that they did not receive sufficient practical exposure during their studies, making it harder to secure placements. (Source: Review)

Overall, while the placement cell seems to be actively engaged in supporting students' careers, there are areas for improvement regarding company partnerships, internship opportunities, and providing more robust industry exposure to students.
