Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Our college is the best place to pursue technical degrees.
Placements: The students placed in our college should have a percentage of 55 or above. The highest package of our course is 3.15 Lacs per annum. The percentage of students who got internships from our course is a minimum of 73 percent. Top roles offered in my course involve maintaining the department.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by the college include a huge lab and a library where students study and focus on their goals. The college's teaching staff is very supportive; they help in every field and motivate students to do something big. The canteen facility is also available in our college, providing fresh food.
Faculty: The teachers in my college are qualified and knowledgeable. They are admitted to our college after completing an interview and verification process. Our course completely prepares students for the industry field or others. Semester exams are taken under the surveillance of the college staff with proper verification of students. Our college staff is very strict during the semester exams.
Other: I chose this course because I want to go into the technical field. The best thing about our course is practical; it is the most interesting part of my course. When we see any machine device, the attraction is more in the field of mechanical engineering compared to other engineering courses. It is a course that satisfies me.

It is a good college to study computer science.
Placements: Placement percentage of our college is good. Around 60% of students get placed in good companies with average salary packages. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA and the lowest salary package is 2 LPA. Some top recruiting companies are TCS and Infosys. Around 60% of students get internship opportunities in the above companies. Top role offered is a software engineer.
Infrastructure: Our campus is fully enabled with high-speed Wi-Fi. There are well-equipped labs with computers. The infrastructure of classrooms is good. Our college doesn't provide hostel facilities but the canteen food is hygienic and affordable. Sports facilities are available on campus.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well-educated and cooperative. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students knowledgeable and industry-ready. Semester exams are tough but around 75% of students pass the exams.
Other: Our college doesn't organise an annual college function.

Experience at Jawaharlal Nehru College .
Placements: The placement of these institutions is very good. Many companies provide a placement & paid internship for those who pass 6 semesters. The minimum package offer is 2 LPA, and the average package is 3 LPA. The annual session 2022–23 has the highest package of 5 LPA offered by Siddharth Construction.
Infrastructure: The facilities of Jawaharlal Nehru College are satisfactory and resourceful. Here is all the available equipment, like wi-fi, practical labs, a furnished classroom, and a book library. A hostel for students is nearby the institute. Mess & canteen food is too hygienic & tasty. Medical facilities, sports and games are all available here.
Faculty: The faculty of these institutions is too experienced & highly educated. They are very helpful and friendly with students. Course curriculum is relevant to the course & industry ready but practical experience is not good in these institutions. The exam is not very difficult or easy to crack.

Dissatisfied because of the faculty and poor teaching quality.
Placements: Very few students got placed in good companies, so the college placements are very low. The highest salary package offered is 1 LPA. Only local companies offer jobs to students. Only 1 % of students got internships in BHEL company, Bhopal. So, you can't get a good job from this college.
Infrastructure: The college building is in very poor condition. The classrooms are huge enough but useless. You can't get a single book from the library. The staff are rude. The electrical lab machines don't work because they are very old and in bad condition. The college doesn't have any sports and games facilities. A canteen is available, and you can buy Samosa there.
Faculty: The faculty members are very bad. They are very rude. They are not even qualified to teach in an engineering college. The teachers don't know how to teach, and they are less educated. They only want their salary.
Other: I had a very bad experience in this college because the college faculty members are rude. Please do not take admission in this college.

The college provides nice infrastructure and good placements.
Placements: My CGPA is 8.1 in every semester, which is eligible to attend placements in companies. The salary package offered is in the range of 2 LPA- 4 LPA. I don't know what percentage of students got internships, but my friends don't opt for internships. About 3-4 companies visit the campus to offer placements for CS and civil departments.
Infrastructure: Labs are nice, but practicals are conducted once a week. The classroom atmosphere is good. The food is not available as they provide only snacks, and I don't know whether medical facilities are available or not. However, there is a huge ground. There is a garden in the backside and frontside of the college with many flowers, which looks beautiful.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, but not highly knowledgeable, and their teaching quality is not good. They conduct group studies, but they will not make the students industry-ready. The college offers good student work for the career.
Other: I chose the CS branch due to its earlier time scope. The college should improve rapidly. Only one or two seminars and a farewell party are conducted here.

My experience at JNCT College.
Placements: Campus placements at this college are quite poor, especially for the CSE branch. Only one or two companies visit for placements, with the highest package being ₹8 LPA. Approximately 30% of students get placed. The eligibility for placements starts after the 3rd year since companies only start visiting from that time. A minimum of 60% in 10th and 12th grades is required to sit for campus placements, as this is the basic eligibility criteria. Apart from academics, students are expected to have strong knowledge of their subjects to perform well in placements. After obtaining the degree, I plan to prepare for government exams
Infrastructure: The college hosts an annual function at the end of each semester for students to enjoy. The library is well-stocked with multiple books related to each course and branch. Classrooms are equipped with digital technology for effective teaching. The campus has a large ground that provides facilities for all kinds of sports and extracurricular activities. There are various clubs like the environment club and social club to engage students in non-academic interests.
Faculty: Each subject has two faculty members who are all qualified PhD graduates. They use heuristic teaching methods and are approachable during and outside of class hours. The faculty is very supportive and always ready to help in any way possible.
Other: There are two hostels—one on campus and the other about 10 km away. Meals are provided in the hostel, including morning and evening breakfast, and dinner from Monday to Saturday. On Sundays, only one meal is provided in the afternoon. Tea is available every evening. Due to limited seats, it is advised to register for hostel accommodation during the admission process, as the seats get filled up quickly.
