    Genuine review of JNGEC.
Placements: The placement of the college is very poor; not everyone gets placed here, with only one or two people securing jobs. This college also does not have a placement department. The highest package from this college is 10 LPA, while the lowest is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel and college is very nice, but Wi-Fi is not available in the college or the hostel, and the mess is very poor. The classrooms are spacious and nice. The surroundings are very green and provide plenty of fresh air.
Faculty: The course is a bit difficult but not to the point it should be, as I am studying in CSE but focusing on Economics and IKS. Since there are only three batches of CSE, placement is not so predictable, but we still hope for the best, although the difficulty is really high.
Other: College life is very poor, but the campus location is very nice, and it is value for money as the crowd is really nice. However, there are very few events in this college.

    Career building college
Placements: About 80 percent of students get placed. The highest package offered was twenty LPA, and the average is three LPA. Companies such as Google, HP, Hindustan Petroleum, Tech, VPro, Mahindra, etc., have recruited here. Roles offered in the companies include manager, COA, and other assistant manager positions.
Infrastructure: There is free Wi-Fi available in my college. Classrooms are really big and well-decorated. The library provides almost every book in the book slots for every course, and the hostel rooms are really good, though the food is average. The hostel provides an indoor tennis court.
Faculty: Teachers really have great knowledge, and the teaching quality is excellent. Semester exams in the college have a not high difficulty level, varying from low to medium range. The pass percentage of students is about ninety percent, and every student who studies well gets placed here.

Review for JNGEC Sundernagar: good surrounding, poor mess food.
Placements: Most of the students get placed in the university on campus. The highest package offered in textile engineering was 16 LPA, while the lowest package for placement was 2.3 LPA. The average package is 4-5 LPA. Our batch is the second one, so there have not been any placements yet.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi inside the college and hostel for students. Labs are normal, and classrooms are a bit old-fashioned. There is a scarcity of benches in class, and most of the projectors in class don't work. The library is average, but there are no non-fiction books available. No medical facilities are provided in our hostel, and no games happen inside the hostel—only some cricket tournaments take place. The mess food is very poor as it comes under private tender.
Faculty: The faculty is kind of hardworking, cheerful, motivating, and very friendly. They're knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is above average. The curriculum is somewhat outdated, as we are taught yoga, engineering economics, and EVS in CSE. Semester exams are quite difficult, as the papers mostly come out of the syllabus.
Other: I chose B.Tech because I was interested in computer science from childhood and was fond of computers. The best thing about this course is that it is budget-friendly compared to private colleges. Wi-Fi should be available in both the college and hostel, and the syllabus should be modern and relevant. No extracurricular activities happen in college, but scholarships are available. The campus surroundings are calm, but there is a transportation issue. There is also a campus crowd, but no events happen in this college. One fest named TWASK occurs, but it didn't happen last year.

Good infrastructure affordable and beautiful surroundings.
Placements: At the time, there is no pass-out batch in Computer Science Engineering, but the placement record of the college is fairly okay. The highest package offered was around 21 LPA, and the median was around 4-5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are HP, Wipro, Vardhaman, and Tech Mahindra. About 30-40 percent of students got placed, though most opted for higher studies. Most students get internships in the 8th semester, and industrial training takes place throughout the course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good and well-maintained. There are many classrooms equipped with projectors and labs with most of the necessary equipment. The campus has Wi-Fi, and the computer center has many computers. There are labs for most subjects, a three-story library with books related to the course, and a separate computer section with access to DELNET and Wi-Fi. The newly built boys' hostel is good in terms of both infrastructure and facilities. It has its own separate badminton court, gym, common room, visitor's area, and a mess with good food. The rooms and washrooms are also good. Sports and events are held both on campus and at the hostel level.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified with PhDs and Master’s degrees and are helpful and knowledgeable in their subjects and departments. However, the teaching style of some teachers may be a bit subjective. The teaching quality is pretty good for what you pay. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Internship opportunities are given frequently, and industrial training also takes place regularly. The semester exams are of moderate difficulty, and there are two mid-semester tests in every semester. The pass percentage of exams is about 40 percent.
Other: CSE at JNGEC provides specialization in AI & ML, which is offered by few colleges and is reasonably priced. There are two main events every year: TWASK and SANGAM, with additional sports meets held every semester. The campus is situated near NH and has a great view of the lake and nearby mountains.

Review of Jawaharlal Nehru Government Engineering College.
Placements: Around 60 students get admitted to this course per year. Some companies offer jobs with an average salary package of 3 LPA or above. There are a lot of options for internships. Top roles offered are draftsman, JE, engineer, and others.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is huge. The building is neat and clean. There is a very good learning atmosphere for students. The campus is huge. Wi-Fi is accessible to all students. There is also a very good library where a lot of books are available. Hostels are under construction. The quality of food in the canteen is fine.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated and well-qualified. They are appointed by the government of Himachal Pradesh. All teachers are very helpful. Their teaching experience is good. They support their students in every field. The course makes students ready for industrial activities. The course provides you with all of the information you need to know about the field. The semester exams are conducted by Himachal Pradesh Technical University. Exams are neither very easy nor very tough. Exams are conducted every 6 months.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in electronics engineering and want to work in this field. The college conducts a college festival called "TWASK" every year. A lot of activities are conducted every month or year.
