It is one of the best colleges in Assam.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are quite helpful, highly qualified and well experienced. They teach students in a well understandable way. They also help them in any situation in order to get good results from their students in the exams.

I like this college because it provides best education in the whole city. My college is the best.

Faculty: The Teachers are very smart. They are very qualified and knowledgeable. I would give the teaching quality 9/10. The course is the same as Delhi University but our college organizes our own exams and everything related to it. It does make students ready for their normal life.

I am absolutely satisfied with the faculty members.

Faculty: Teachers were quite helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good too since classes are conducted regularly. The teaching methods are sometimes practical along with e-classes. They don't provide any industry exposure, but field trips were organised for every batch.

The college is striving for excellence in the learning field with an emphasis on development.

Faculty: The college has both teaching and student staff with defined badges. The teachers are interactive and have a good and positive attitude towards students. Teachers are well-versed and well-educated in every sector. So, various field surveys and interactive sessions are held by the teachers.

As my experience at JB College for past 2 years, I felt never to hesitate to question any teacher.

Faculty: The college faculty includes both teaching and students staff with defined badges. The teachers are interactive and have a good positive attitude towards students. The teachings include overall assessment in project or assignment, debates, computer perspective presentation, and other subfields. The teachers also take us to various fields survey and interactive session with combination class. Teachers feel free to answer and never hesitate to un-answer our questions. As a history student, as far ...

JB college - the most preferable college in the northeastern region.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful to the students and they are well-qualified, but their teaching quality is not good enough because they use the local language while teaching. They do not use advanced technology while teaching. Their teaching methods are also very old which affect the studies of the students.

Jagannath Barooah College.

Faculty: The teachers are widely qualified, helpful, friendly, consultant, knowledgeable etc. The teachers use mics for the better understanding of lectures. The faculty-student ratio is 1:8. A wide range of extra knowledge is given through the modern techniques using powerpoint presentation etc. B.A is useful in our life since you can apply bank jobs, civil jobs, social works etc. Not only B.A. but also B.Sc. B.Com., H.S Arts, science, commerce and BCA courses are also offered here.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the average quality faculty and placements in 2013.

Faculty: Teachers were qualified but with average knowledge and they were not that helpful. Traditional teaching method were used. Student-faculty ratio was very bad. The college did not provide industry exposure at all. The course curriculum was not at all useful.

Jagannath Barooah College.

Faculty: This is A-grade college accredited by NAAC. Earlier, it had the Dibrugarh University UG syllabus, but after getting autonomy, it has its own syllabus and examination cell. The professors of the college are highly educated, and almost all of them has PhD. Maximum of them are NET/SLET qualified. They pay attention to the students like small kids. Presently, the college has its own syllabus inspired by Delhi University syllabus.

Good infrastructure, faculty and management

Faculty: The best part of studying in this college is its faculty members. Such helpful and cooperative. During my time, I didn't suffer any such problems. The semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage usually depends on the marks of total students. One is sessional exam and the other is semester exam that occurs per semester

This is the best autonomous college in Assam for B.Sc. or B.A.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. It makes the students industry ready. The semester exams are quite difficult as compared to others. The pass percentage is 30%. The examiners are very strict.

Review of JB college of Jorhat.

Faculty: Teachers are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Their behavior is good. Semester exams are equivalent to the other colleges. But the difference is that our classes are held regularly. The first-semester classes start earlier while other colleges continue their admission process.

Faculty: I studied here for 5 years, so I can say it confidently that teachers in our college were very kind to us. They taught us very well. They help you by thinking that you passed out of college not only as a good student but also as a good human being.
