Placements: I was part of the Covid batch, so I went to college for the 1st year and then directly the last semester. That is why only 40 percent of the students went for placements, and the rest just went for higher studies, including me. Placements: Around 47 to 50 students are enrolled in Economics Honours. To get into Economics Honours at JMC, one needs to score a minimum of 750 out of 800 marks in academics. In my batch, a few students were placed in Bain, and a few in Accenture. Companies recruiting from my course include KPMG, Genpact, Deloitte, and DE Shaw. The domains these companies offer include finance, marketing, and research.

Placements: Actually, I am an NCWEB student, so they don't provide placements for us. Although NCWEB is technically a regular program, students only need to come on Saturdays or Sundays due to pursuing other courses. We are called regularly for practicals, viva, and classes, so it's not like an open college. The lack of placement opportunities is expected because many students are involved in other professional courses and choose NCWEB.

Placements: I don't think we have a placement option for the B.A. Programme department, whereas there is an option for the Commerce department and the Department of Economics. Placements: The placement ratio of our college is around 75%. The highest package a student grabbed was 23.05 LPA, the lowest was 6 LPA, and the average is 6.50 LPA and above. Top recruiting companies are Accenture, EY, KPMG, ICICI Bank, Wipro, Genpact, Godrej, MakeMytrip, ITC's Hotel Group, Axis Bank, and Nestle. Placements: Most students either go for higher studies or prepare for government exams after completing this course. As far as internships are concerned, students need to reach out to external sources themselves. Overall, the average package offered at the college was around 7 LPA.
