REVIEW FOR JMIT COLLEGE RADAUR

Placements: 70% of students were placed in my course. The highest package is 12 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Recruiting companies include Code Quotients, Infosys, etc. 70 to 80% of students get internships from this course. The roles offered are software engineer, frontend developer, backend developer, etc.

Infrastructure: Many facilities and infrastructure are available in our department, like Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi is available in each department, and labs are also available in each department. Books for students are available in the library. The canteen of the college is average. Medical facilities and sports games are available.

Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful, qualified (Ph.D.), and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant; it makes the study industry-ready with summer industrial training for skillsets. The difficulty of the semester exam is average, with a minimum passing percentage of 40%.

Other: The skills I gained in this course are always in demand.

A home away from home: JMIT's review.

Placements: The percentage of students placed is very high due to the smaller number of students in each batch. The highest package was 32 LPA, and the average is 4 LPA. Companies like TCS and many others hire students from our college.

Infrastructure: Our department has Wi-Fi facilities, and the classrooms are well maintained, clean, and equipped with AC. The labs are equipped with all new equipment, and the hostel facilities are good. The mess food is affordable for both hostlers and day scholars.

Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, with many holding Ph.D. degrees. The college ensures that the course syllabus remains up to date with new technologies and also provides us with add-on courses. The semester exams are of medium difficulty. There is no specific minimum pass percentage, but students must ensure they have no RE (re-examination) in any subject. For a subject with 75 marks, the minimum marks required to pass are around 30.

Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in technology. The best thing about my course is that we can innovate new things. There are many events in the college like Enchante, Prom Night, ED MELA, Blood Donation Mela, and many more. The crowd is good, considering the campus size, which is not very large. There are many clubs in the college that ensure interaction among students, and a lot of extracurricular activities are organized for students every day.

A Journey of JMIT from My View.

Placements: In JMIT, approximately 60 percent of students got placed in different companies like TCS, Wipro, Bajaj Finance, and many more. However, JMIT does not provide any internships for my course, so students self-search companies for internships. The main roles offered by companies to students of JMIT are backend developer and frontend developer.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities provided by the college are good. They offer free Wi-Fi, and all books are available at the library. The mess food is good, but it's not like home-cooked food. The menu changes every month by the mess committee. JMIT does not provide good facilities for sports; there are no proper playgrounds, especially for cricket.

Faculty: The good thing about JMIT is their faculty members. The faculty at JMIT is really supportive, and their teaching experience is excellent. Most of the faculty have their master's degree in their field. Yes, it prepares students for the industry, and there are extra classes for personality development. The difficulty level of semester exams is average, and most students pass the semester exams easily.

Other: I chose JMIT because I have an interest in coding and the future scope of computer science. There are many fests held by the college, such as Ed Mela, Enchante, Raw Talks, and so on.

Honest review of college JMIT.

Placements: Our batch has been offered an excellent package of 7 lakhs by top companies like Infosys and Tata in the field of CSE. However, it is important to note that placements are not guaranteed, and you need to work hard to secure them. Additionally, internships are to be pursued independently. Nevertheless, studying diligently can increase your chances of getting placed, even though it should be considered a last option.

Infrastructure: Our hostel offers reliable Wi-Fi connectivity, which proves to be particularly beneficial during exam periods. Additionally, students have access to a well-equipped library after college hours. The mess facilities are also commendable, providing a variety of meals that differ from season to season. Overall, the quality of services justifies the amount paid for accommodation.

Faculty: The professors are extremely supportive, and they provide valuable assistance. By seeking guidance from your professors, you can secure placement opportunities. The curriculum is on par with industry standards, and the university also organizes development sessions to enhance your personality and make you industry-ready. The semester exams are relatively manageable.

College is good, but it depends on the individual whether they like it or not.

Placements: The placement session starts from the 7th semester, and companies start visiting the campus till the 8th semester. The highest package offered is 9 LPA by TCS NQT exam. The lowest package is around 2.6 LPA. The average package is around 3 LPA. Approximately 50% of students got placements from campus. Visiting companies in the campus are: Daffodil, Codequotient, TCS (through NQT), Bajaj Finance, 75 Ways Technology, and Libsys Ltd.

Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of the college is good. Especially in the Computer Science department, every classroom and lab has good facilities such as high-tech computer desktop systems, 2-4 A.C., and projectors. The central library is good and has a large number of books on various topics and subjects. In the hostel, there are two types of rooms (AC and non-AC), both available in single, double, and triple-sharing capacities. The facilities in the hostel room include a single bed for each individual, a table for each, and a chair for each individual. Mess food is good at 2500/month price.

Faculty: The faculty of the college is very good and has good knowledge of their particular domain. They always try to help students in each possible way. The teaching methods are also good. But the biggest drawback is the old curriculum of Kurukshetra University. It needs to be updated based on industry requirements. The semester exams are of moderate difficulty. They can be easily cracked if studied with concentration for 10 days. The pass percentage is 40% in each subject.

Other: I chose this course because, at the time of my admission, the IT sector was very good and had lots of opportunities available for freshers, and the college fees were very reasonable compared to other universities. Events and fests are conducted by the clubs of the college. The college has around 50 clubs which organize events at regular intervals.
