Absolutely satisfied with the faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: About 70 percentage of students are placed. The highest is 5 Lacs per annum and the lowest is 2 or3 Lacs per annum. Recruiting companies are wipro, infoyses, Rakuten and many more. The internship offered are from nearby companies like the milk factory ( shimoga) and other industries (manufacturing units). Our course offers you a role of electrical engineer in every field and gives you industrial knowledge of the cousre. We frequently visit industries for a field visit to have a proper understanding of the subject .
Infrastructure: We have department Library with our college library. Librarary is well-equipped with useful resources Books can be recommended by students and bought. Labs are well established. We have labs that are well maintained and disciplined. There are total of 5 labs for different subjects. Classrooms are digitalized. We have digital boards installed in every classroom and seminar hall. They have a lot of space. The hostel is clean and hygienic. The mess food is of good taste. Medical facilities are also available. Sports events are conducted once a while like cricket, basketball, Throw ball and indoor games too. We have sports pavillion where these events are conducted.
Faculty: Professors are very much experienced for like 14 to 15 for young and 20 to 25 for elder professors. They have completed tier Ph.D. in the subjects. They are well versed in their teaching. They use many industry level applications while teaching which helps us to understand more effectively. They make us industry ready. We have industry visits scheduled to witness the real work. The semester exams are not too difficult. They are very easy to pass if learned. If one is very good in 3 modules he or she can pass easily and scoring is also very easy. The questions are of understanding and application level. The passing percentage is of students is 85 percent. The exam can be passes by scoring above 35 marks.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in electronics. The best thing about this course is you can work in any feild software or hardware, private or government. This field is very diverse. Events are held under the department and college. We have department club and college club. Social events are conducted in both the clubs. Tech events and many other competitions are held during the cousre. Scholarships for students for every category. College sorrounds with canteens and stationary. We have agri college beside us.

I am satisfied with infrastructure, but faculty members are not well-knowledgeable.
Placements: An average of 40% of the students is placed every year. The highest salary package offered until now is 5.5 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Tech Mahindra, TCS and Crimson Logic are some of the top recruiting companies. Almost 80% of the students got an internship, and most of the internships were from MESCOM.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is not available to this department. The departmental library is full of old books, and most of them are from the 1990s. Classrooms are spacious with good lighting facilities. Most of the laboratory equipment is of poor quality, and they are partially working or broken.
Faculty: Most of the teachers in our college have very little knowledge about the course, so the teaching quality is below average. Students have to read and understand the subject on their own. This course curriculum id relevant, and it makes students industry-ready if they are ready to put in a lot of efforts on their own.
Other: I have chosen this course because I was highly interested in it from the beginning. A lot of improvement that can be done in this course, especially about practical knowledge. The best thing about our course is it has many job opportunities, especially in the central or state government sector.

Absolutely dissatisfied due to poor placement.
Placements: The college has no placements. It is a waste of time by joining here. Don't spoil your valuable life by joining this college. The hostel is good, but it is bit expensive when compared to their quality of food. The placement officer is unable to identify the talent of people. Only BPO comes here. No core companies will appear for the placements.
Infrastructure: The labs are in the old version and not at all updated. There is no Wi-Fi facility. The library facility is there, but there is no required number of books. The sports and games opportunity is there, and it's good. The classrooms are also good. There is no A/C facility in the classrooms. The faculty members are not interested in teaching. Their purpose is to get a salary.
Faculty: Some faculty members are really good, but no one will be like IIT people. They are not going to update the syllabus. They come with some data and teach the same. There is no need to join JNNCE if you want to crack PSU and IES like that.

According to my experience in this college, this is one of the best engineering colleges.
Placements: The placements in our college are better than any other colleges in Shimoga, Karnataka. I also got placed in an MNC company, and I'm happy to give this feedback about my experience in this college. The HR of my college is very good, and he works hard to ensure that even the students with low-grades also get a job.
Infrastructure: My college infrastructure is very attractive. We have 4 boys hostels with good facilities in them, and also two girls hostels. We have the largest library in Karnataka which is a good point in my college. The library is fully digital. We have a sewage treatment plant and biogas plant. My college also has a cricket ground in which many Indian players have come.
Faculty: The faculty members of our college are the best in their fields. They are also 20 to 30 years experienced in teaching. They give their best in teaching. The course curriculum is also good, and it depends on us how we are putting our hard work in every subject. So, overall, we have highly qualified teachers, and they are very helpful.
Other: Every year, we celebrate our college day. It is the best fest of the year in which we celebrate. All the economically needy students get a scholarship.
