JNTU Anantapur is a college worthy to spend one's graduation life in. Particularly the ECE discipline is doing very well. Supported by experienced faculty, one can be sure of acquiring a vast amount of knowledge. The classroom provides a competitive spirit to learn things Pros: peaceful days - if dedicated, one can achieve anything - acquire good subject knowledge. Cons: lack of practical applications. Overall, a college worthy to spend life in.

One of the oldest engg. colleges in AP. You are assured to get a job if you get into this. But, you have to grow on your own to match the outer world. Don't confine to the college environment, rather explore the ways possible to get in tune with the professional world. College being situated in a tier 2 city, you have less chances for enjoying to the core in terms of partying and having fun.

One of the oldest and the best college of Andhra Pradesh, established in 1946 i.e., before independence. The campus is of about 100 acres, infrastructure gives a homely atmosphere. Individual hostels for each year of students. The alumni is so good, that it helped us by sponsoring the college events, tech fest.

I started my college in 1999 and that year the college started very late around the month of December. We had just 7 months to complete first year and very hectic schedule with lot of curriculum. I just loved the electrical subjects and the staff for electrical subjects were very good at that time, but electronics subjects were not up to mark.

It is a good college. There is freedom for everyone in the college. Excellent staff for lectures. Good technicians in laboratories, lecturers are friendly to students. There is a good environment for students in the college. But there is a lack of punctuality for taking classes at the correct time and the syllabus will complete in time of schedule of classes by taking extra classes.

The best place for playing games.

Placements: Almost 70 percent of students got placed in software companies, while only 20 percent were placed in hardware companies due to the limited number of hardware companies visiting our college each year. The top recruiting companies for our Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) department are Nvidia, Cisco, Intel, and Siemens.

JNTUA University: one of best colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

Placements: M.Tech people recruitment is very low as only 30% of the students were placed. 2.5LPA is low and 5LPA seems high. TCS, Intel, Infosys, etc. are the top recruiters. The internship getting depends on student skills, but the faculty will always encourage us to try for internships. System Engineer, Software Developer, etc. are the roles offered.

I am satisfied with the teachers and infrastructure but disappointed only with poor hostels.

Placements: It is very tough to get placements in civil engineering as none of the companies from the core field visits our college for placements. Some of our seniors got placements in non-core companies. It is not only in our college but also in most of the engineering colleges. Companies based on civil engineering don't offer any placements in government colleges.
