JIET Jodhpur is one of the best engineering colleges in Jodhpur. JIET is the only engineering college in Rajasthan that is NAAC 'A' accredited. It is also among the best 15% NBA-accredited institutions in India. Top recruiting companies are Tata, Infosys, Capgemini, etc.

Q:   Is Jodhpur Institute of Engineering and Technology Tier 1 or Tier 2?

A:

Jodhpur Institute of Engineering and Technology is overall a Tier 2 institution. The institution offers engineering programs and shares the status of a university with Bikaner Technical University, Rajasthan. While JIET is by no means equivalent to the status of class 1, like IITs or top NITs, JIET has developed a reputable academic curriculum as well as an emphasis on practical training with engagement from the industry. This will allow the college to attract local students for which it can offer placement opportunities in different sectors, though its actual clients are probably going to come from local or less competitive job markets as compared to Tier 1 colleges.

I like my college very much, the faculty here is also very good.
Placements: My college name JIET. My class total students is 60. My college the highest placement is 20 Lacs, the lowest is 3 Lacs, and the average placement is 7 Lacs. 70.4% of interns get offered a job after an internship. Infrastructure: My college hostel is very best and clean. Our college sports ground is very large, and all sports activities are available. The medical faculty is also very good, available even at night. The food in the canteen is also very good. The library is very clean and quiet.
Faculty: The faculty of my college is very good and knowledgeable, and all the teachers help me. My college exams are also very tough. My passing mark is 34. The college garden is very big and beautiful. You can also join different clubs in the college.
Other: My college campus is very big, clean, and beautiful. Scholarships are also available in this. There are different sports activities, inter-college competitions, and prizes.

Infrastructure: The hostel is good compared to other college hostels, but the food is not good, it's average. Gym facilities are provided by the college, along with sport facilities being available. Some of the sports equipment is not available in the college. The canteen is good. Infrastructure and good facilities are provided by the college.

The college has very good teachers.
Placements: In my 2016 batch, 83% of students were placed in 3rd year, with the remaining students placed by offline campus, and some students went on to further their studies and are now in government services, including myself. Infosys, Cognizant, TCS, Mahindra, and Amazon are the companies where most students are placed, but smaller companies also visit for placement. The highest package was 21 lacs offered by Amazon to four students, and the lowest package was 2.5 lacs offered by Tech Mahindra, and some were posted on software testing, some on system engineering, and some went into IT. Overall, I would say that the placement is quite good, and my batch has outstanding students, with most of them achieving 75-85% in engineering.
Infrastructure: Every department has its own lab, such as a technical lab, a system lab, an instruments lab, and a project lab. It has assigned two of the best technical faculty members who are experts in their fields. Every department has its own small library, but there is one central library.  Wi-Fi is available, and the speed is moderately fast. There are four hostels and one mess for boys, a basketball court, a football field, a college canteen, and one emergency medical van.
Faculty: Some teachers have completed their degrees at IITs, while others are very well-versed in their subject or are M.Tech in one subject such as control systems or digital communications. Every semester, the college conducts two midterm exams based on the Rajasthan Technical University curriculum, with passing marks of 12 out of 20 in each subject. However, the exams are difficult because the teachers prepare us for future assistance rather than for the highest marks.
Other: I chose the ECE course because it is based on electrical and some programming components. Nowadays, everything in the world is based on artificial intelligence, and everything is done electronically, so I opted for this. Apart from that, we are preoccupied with our studies and never have time for extracurricular activities. For example, my college holds a resonance fest, a technical fest, and some sports every year, but we miss out on fun because we are preoccupied with placement and exams. Scholarships are also available to EWS students.

Placements: 70 to 80 percent student place in this college. Highest package is 33 lakh and lowest 3 lakhs and average 7 lakh. TCS is the top company. According to the there academic score internship will provided in such nice nice company. Almost 80 percent students get internship. Operation head, manager, etc are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: WiFi, labs and lecturer, theatre are provided by the college faculty are also good. The quality of food is excellent or good but the menu of the week is fixed for four year. Sports and games equipment are also available in college. Hostel room is also good but not excellent.
Faculty: This college has it's own time table for exam and academic activities. According to me 10 out of 6 only clear all subjects in semester. Course according then there field application to secure the skills and placement.. 50- 60 percent students pass in every semester exam.
Other: Because my interest was in this course. All things are good but some practical experience can improve the course more. Many events are conducted by the college council like resonance, sports , garba night, kite festive, etc.
