Overall teachers are hard working. The placement rate is increasing.

Placements: We have noticed that the placement rate of the college is increasing year by year, but all the student are not placed. The placement department of the college invites various private companies and PSUs for placements. Overall the number of students getting placed is increasing.

Review of Jorhat Engineering College.

Placements: Placements in JEC are not as good as it was before 2012-13 batch. Since PSUs started to recruit students only through GATE, only a few PSUs visit here for the recruitment. However, from the last year, 2017-18 batch, placements are increased a little bit, due to the effort taken by placement cell of JEC. The ongoing year's placements are average because it has decreased when compared with the previous batch. Companies like Oil, NRL, Dabur, TCS, etc., visit here for placements.

I am satisfied with my college.Because as a govt college is has been able to retain its reputation.

Placements: The placement regarding our senior batch is preety decent however there is scope for increasing annual campus placement. Approximately 30 percent of our senior students has been placed in some PSU's and private sectors with handsome packages. Technical giants like TCS, Wipro as well as some startups like Jaloni, knoldus, BrioEnergy and PSU's like oil, nrl has visited our college. Review of Jorhat Engineering College.

Placements: As JEC will touch the diamond jubilee year in 2020, the placement scenario of our college is below par. However, it has scaled up in the recent past. Almost 84 students out of 320 students were placed in the academic year 2017-2018. The training and placement cell has done a tremendous job in doing so. Moreover, 12 companies have visited our college in the academic year 2018-2019. IT companies like Zaloni, TCS, Wipro, etc., are some of the sole recruiters. PSUs like OIL, NRL, Power Grid, are al...

I am totally satisfied with the college in terms of placement the overall facilities.

Placements: JEC have noticed an increasing job opportunities as well as a marked increase in the placements as well. So over the years the placement department of JEC has done a great job in providing 100% placement for its students. Apart from private companies PSU sector jobs are also visiting for the recruitment of our students.

Review of Jorhat Engineering College.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Placements are offered from PSUs like OIL, ONGC, BCPL, Power Grid, etc. But you have to compete with the batchmates to attend those interviews. Other companies like Wipro, TCS, Mahindra, Airtel, are regular recruiters from Jorhat Engineering College.

Overall, Jorhat Engineering College (JEC) is the topmost engineering college in Assam.

Placements: Placements in our college are very good. Almost 60 to 70% of the students per batch get placed. The average package offered is about 4 to 5 LPA, the highest package is about 21 LPA, and the lowest package is about 3 LPA. A huge number of good companies like OIL, NRL, Mahindra and Mahindra, BCPL, BRIO Energy Limited, Manikara Power Limited, Cognizant, Infosys, TCS, PGCIL, etc., visit the campus for recruitment. If you're looking for a good engineering college in Assam, you can choose this college.

Placements: Placements in our college are not satisfactory. But major PSUs like Oil ONGC, NRL, and Power Grid, etc., hires students from the department of instrumentation engineering. Other major recruiters such as Dabur, HUL, Wipro, and TCS, etc., hire students every year from our college. The college doesn't assure 100% placements, but if you are good at studies, you'll get a nice job.

I am absolutely satisfied with the college.

Placements: The placement scenario of college has improved a lot in the last few years. Almost 50% of the students got placed in the batch 2014 to 2019. Reputed companies, as well as PSUs, visit the campus regularly. PSUs including OIL and Powergrid have been the top recruiters of JEC. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA. For batch 2015 to 2019, till now 30% of students got placed and most of them got placed in IT companies. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Concept Educations, HUL and Infosys were some ...

The fee structure is quite good here.

Placements: Placements for our senior batch were far better than ours. The number of companies that visited the campus is very low considering the strength of students. However, the few companies that had recruited students from our branch are only PSUs.

Placements: The placements of our batch and our senior batch were really good. In fact, our junior batch is also getting good packages from various companies. The placement cell is really efficient, and the head is also a wonderful person and really helpful. The roles offered to students vary according to branches, but IT jobs are really good.

Placements: Placements for our batch were good. Companies like OIL, Power Grid, Go Speedy Go, etc., visited the college for placements. Students were offered roles of assistant engineer. There is a training and placement cell in our college, and it is very useful as many students got an opportunity to interact with the officers of various companies.

Review of Jorhat Engineering College.

Placements: Placements in our college are average as a maximum of the students are remained unplaced, and only a few were placed from the civil engineering department. I hope the placement rate increases in future. Students were placed mostly in PSUs.

Satisfied with the college, and the college takes our feedback even if there's a small problem.

Placements: Placements in college are fine for some branches but not for all. The placements can be best if properly managed. Civil branch students need more placements. PSUs visit the college but recruit only two or three students. Placements are the best for computer science and engineering students; they have almost 100% placements. But the scenario is different for other branches. Placements for the mechanical, electrical and instrumentation branches are almost okay but very poor for civil students.

Many students from electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, instrumentation engineering, and computer science engineering are placed. Around 76.89% of the students are placed.
