Only for studies. No enjoyment is guaranteed. Good faculty members and placements.
Placements: 30% of students got placed during the course and 50% got placed in different good companies and as government apprentices with department guidance. The highest, the lowest and the average packages offered in my course were 4 lakhs per annum, 2 lakhs per annum and 3 lakhs per annum (approximately), respectively. Shobha Developments and Arbee Construction were the top recruiting companies for my course. Around 20% of students got internships at ULCCS, Shobha, and other companies also. Top roles offered in my course are assistant engineer, estimate engineer, QAQC consultant, town planner, surveyor, draftsman, etc. The variety and reach of this course are very huge.
Infrastructure: Facilities offered in my department: Wi-Fi, all labs in and out of syllabus, high quality and the latest equipment, AC classrooms, smart boards, well-experienced faculty members. Library in the college and separate library in the department. Same for the hostel also. Double occupancy with good quality food, water and electricity, security, medical rooms, playgrounds, etc. The canteen was run by a famous restaurant in the area and a variety of options were available.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful except in some cases. They were qualified and experienced. I don't think the curriculum makes us industry ready; the syllabus is so theory-oriented that we often need to find other sources to gain industry knowledge. That can't be a con of the college. The university is to blame for the same.
Other: I chose this course as I thought it would be easy for me as I got a gift of arts in me. But I was wrong. But the best thing about my course is that I got a wide variety of roles and opportunities for me to choose from. If I could, I would want to make the syllabus more industry-oriented, including more practical knowledge. The events and technical fest in this college are top-notch. I got greater connections through friends in this college, which may become helpful in the future. The college offers scholarships for economically weaker students.

An average college life with good facilities and placements.
Placements: For Computer Science Engineering, the placements are good. Previously, almost everyone got placed. Now, the situation is bad everywhere. Companies are recruiting very few people. It has also affected us. But if you have a strong foundation, you will definitely get placed. The top package is 12 LPA, and if you have a strong foundation, you will get an average of 5 to 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Nice classrooms and labs. The classes are good, and the canteen is also nice. Boys' and ladies' hostels are available. It will cost around 5k per month. The food is nice, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available. A room is shared by 2 people. There are some rules for the hostel. It is a private college, so it is a little stricter compared to government colleges.
Faculty: Teachers are good. They are very friendly. You can ask doubts, and they will clear everything. The staff is highly qualified for teaching. You will understand everything. The syllabus is based on KTU, and in every college, the syllabus is the same. You need to learn outside the syllabus to get placed in a good company. In the current scenario, you won't get placement with only theory knowledge.
Other: The main event is the tech fest named Tharang. It’s a big program. There are celebrations for Onam and Christmas. Sports day and other programs are also conducted. The college has a good NSS team. But compared to government colleges, the campus life is not that great. But it’s okay.

Jyothi engineering college, An average Campus.
Placements: While telling about placement in Jyothi Engineering College, I can say the placement in Jyothi is average, not so good nor bad; it all depends on each individual by developing their skills and efforts and attending internships. In my knowledge, the highest package at Jyothi Engineering College is about 12 to 15 LPA, and the lowest was 3 to 5 LPA. Companies like banks, IT companies, and many other companies are offered in my course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Jyothi Engineering College is not bad. Its an eco-friendly college with a bamboo forest and many other trees. And also very neat and clean surroundings, well maintained. And while talking about boys hostels, in my opinion, the infrastructure is not so good, maybe because of the old age, but the food they provide is so good in quality and taste. And sports and games are also not so good; if we want to reach somewhere, we have to do it at our own risk. The college does not support much in that field, which is also not so bad. And labs and classrooms are also well maintained and clean. The campus is also provided with Wi-Fi in the hostel.
Faculty: The faculty members are not so bad. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They help us in every situation if we need any help or have any doubt. And it all depends on our efforts; if we want, we have to do it ourselves. The difficulty of the semester exams in this college is average; if we put in a little bit of effort, we can simply pass. I think the pass percentage at this college is above average.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in coding and the IT field. One of the best things about this course is that if we develop our skills, we can reach a good level. I think they have to show a little more interest in events, festivals, and cultural programs. The campus auditorium is not so good, and there is building a new one, so I hope it will be good.

Beautiful campus, good infrastructure, dedicated placement cell and nice faculty .
Placements: Around 150 students got placed last year with the help of a dedicated placement cell. The highest package offered was 1.2 LPA, and the minimum was 2.5 LPA. The companies that came were UST, Cognizant, South Indian Bank, Mitsogo, Q Burst, etc. The internship is usually done by the students on their own, where the college provides the necessary documents for the purpose. The top role offered in my course was for Graduate Engineer Trainee.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is really good, which includes a huge ground, basketball courts, Wi-Fi facilities, different labs, Fablab, etc. The quality of facilities in the hostel is also really good, with the food menu including both veg and non-veg options. The hostel also has an inbuilt gym for the boys.
Faculty: The teachers in the college are really educated, qualified, and knowledgeable, and are good in their respective fields. The teaching quality is also top-notch. The course curriculum concentrates on both practical and theoretical education, which makes a student ready for real-world experiences. The semester exams are usually conducted by the university, but the teachers prepare you well enough to face any exams with ease.
Other: Since I had completed my Diploma in the same field, I decided to also take up a Bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, as my interest lies in this field. The college life is really amazing here. The college conducts an annual tech fest called Tharang, which is a must-attend event. The campus is covered in greenery, which makes it really beautiful. The extracurricular activities in college include most of the sports, NSS, and different types of clubs. The college also has a dance team.

    Good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: In the department of computer science and artificial intelligence, about 100% of the students were placed. And from other departments, students also got placements. The highest package was around 9 LPA. Also, students at our college got internships at many companies.
Infrastructure: Our college has good classrooms, labs and libraries. Our college has different student clubs and any student can join any of the clubs. We have a canteen that provides vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian food. We also have hostel facilities for both boys and girls; hostels are available.
Faculty: Teachers at our college are very friendly with the students and they are very sincere in their work. Our teachers support students and always motivate us. They also provide key tricks and trips for placements. Our semester exams are at the intermediate level.

Good college with great focus on teaching and cultural activities.
Placements: From what I've heard, the percentage of students placed in my department is about 30%. The highest package might be around 16-17 LPA. College recruiting companies include Accenture, TCS, SOTI, ESAF, etc. The internship opportunities have to be found individually by each student. I am currently in the 6th semester and I haven't gotten any internships from college. Project Manager and Developer are some of the top roles offered in the course.
Infrastructure: The classrooms have evolved with technology, using chalkless boards, projectors, and other media. Wi-Fi is available to every student, and there is access to the library (the library currently has no non-technical books). Labs are equipped with decent PCs with decent specs. The canteen has good food with average prices, and snack outlets are available throughout the college. Jyothi has a big ground for sports and a basketball court. Sports are actively promoted with a PT period in a week.
Faculty: The experience with teachers is great. The college has great faculty, infrastructure, and a surrounding environment. The teachers are highly qualified and of great quality. The course curriculum is relevant to the current time and is regularly updated, and it prepares each student for placements. For this, they offer extra courses which the students can take. The college has a good pass percentage, with a few achieving very high CGPA.
Other: The college has a lot of events, so students can enjoy a lot. The tech fest is also good in comparison. There are many clubs available, so students can join one. The campus is relatively calm and enjoyable. I chose CS because of the job opportunities available, and I hope more students choose this course.
