B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2024

Only for studies. No enjoyment is guaranteed. Good faculty members and placements.
Placements: 30% of students got placed during the course and 50% got placed in different good companies and as government apprentices with department guidance. The highest, the lowest and the average packages offered in my course were 4 lakhs per annum, 2 lakhs per annum and 3 lakhs per annum (approximately), respectively. Shobha Developments and Arbee Construction were the top recruiting companies for my course. Around 20% of students got internships at ULCCS, Shobha, and other companies also. Top roles offered in my course are assistant engineer, estimate engineer, QAQC consultant, town planner, surveyor, draftsman, etc. The variety and reach of this course are very huge.
Infrastructure: Facilities offered in my department: Wi-Fi, all labs in and out of syllabus, high quality and the latest equipment, AC classrooms, smart boards, well-experienced faculty members. Library in the college and separate library in the department. Same for the hostel also. Double occupancy with good quality food, water and electricity, security, medical rooms, playgrounds, etc. The canteen was run by a famous restaurant in the area and a variety of options were available.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful except in some cases. They were qualified and experienced. I don't think the curriculum makes us industry ready; the syllabus is so theory-oriented that we often need to find other sources to gain industry knowledge. That can't be a con of the college. The university is to blame for the same.
Other: I chose this course as I thought it would be easy for me as I got a gift of arts in me. But I was wrong. But the best thing about my course is that I got a wide variety of roles and opportunities for me to choose from. If I could, I would want to make the syllabus more industry-oriented, including more practical knowledge. The events and technical fest in this college are top-notch. I got greater connections through friends in this college, which may become helpful in the future. The college offers scholarships for economically weaker students.

Satisfied college with good faculty and high placements and facilities.
Placements: About 60% of students were placed in our college. The average package is about 4 LPA. TCS and Infosys are the top recruiting companies. Around 70% of students can get from the campus itself and many top roles such as how to build and how maintain infrastructure etc., are help full in this course.
Infrastructure: A green and Wi-Fi campus with well-equipped lab facilities and well-arranged smart classroom and a good library with a collection of plenty of books, hostels the food was very tasty and quality is highly maintained. Healthy food will be served. Sports and games are there.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, highly qualified, knowledgeable in different areas, and high quality of teaching with modern technologies. The course curriculum is highly relevant. The exams are a little bit tough. About 70 % of students will pass semester exams.
Other: Because it has many job opportunities I loved this course and many extracurricular activities, sports, arts, and tech fest.

I am satisfied with my college experiences.
Placements: I am not much aware of placements, but they support it. The placements are mostly provided in the IT field, so it's good for computer science engineering and electrical engineering. Basically, the top-rated engineering courses have high demand, and they have higher opportunities in placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good here, and it's a kind of appreciating thing. I am not much aware of the hostel facilities, but they provide them. The hostel is nearer to the college. Our college consists of centralised Wi-Fi broadband, and students can access it. Our college also has mess and canteen facilities. Sports and games are also available here.
Faculty: The faculty members here are well qualified and well educated. Our college doesn't compromise in this thing. This course curriculum is much different from other courses, and it mainly consists of two semesters in a year. The university exam is a difficult task.
Other: The campus is very beautiful and eco-friendly, and we can also see monkeys and other birds. So, there is a natural kind of atmosphere.

Infrastructure: Our college provides the best facilities eg: Wi-Fi, labs classroom, library. Everything is perfect in our college. Our college provides a clean and beautiful hostel. Our hostel mess is very clean and hygienic. All facilities are available in our engineering college. eg:medical, sports, arts.

College with Good Infrastructure, But not student friendly one.
Placements: More than 5% of students in the last batch got placed in several companies. But the fact is that is most of the companies are from IT fields. Since I'm studying in mechanical engineering that is not a big option for me. Most students from my branch are also entering in these fields since
they know the fact that there is high scope to stay in this field. Companies like TCS, Wipro, UST Global, Infosys, and other small companies from the IT field is regularly visiting the campus for recruitment.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is good. It's a green-covered campus. There are separate labs for each department. All classrooms are provided with a projector and CCTV, but some projectors are not working, and students have complained the same to the management, they are not taking action against this. So I'm saying that the management is not student-friendly. There is always harsh action taken by the management. It's Wi-Fi Campus But the fact is that you cant use mobile here its strict order taken by the management. There are Dept libraries and one Central Library. There is one thing to say proud of my college that is half of my college is powered by solar power a renewable energy source also the entire building is single there is no separate building for separate branches. The college hostel is good with basic amenities provided also Gym is there with extra fees inside the hostel.
Faculty: All teachers here are a good one with basic qualifications for faculty members as AICTE norms as Ph.D. Holds, M.Tech teachers so on. In the case of my branch faculty are student-friendly that is not the case of other branches like computer Science. They provide valuable notes that will make you pass the semester exam. In the first year we all branches belong to common the basic Science and humanities department then the next year it changes to respected ones.
Other: There is less fest conducted at the college. That makes students dizzier. Fests like Tharang are conducting at the college but it needs more support and fund to make it good as expected college is not providing necessary funds for this. The college is providing a management scholarship about 2crore per annum that is a good one for necessary students.
