Review of Kamala Nehru College, University of Delhi .
Placements: Kamala Nehru College does not provide much placement for the science students, but for the commerce and other courses there is a placement cell to provide placement assistance to the students. The college offers many internship opportunities and the information is circulated through the WhatsApp group of different departments. I had been part of you. This was the online internship for 3 months.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite good; the big brown building perfectly matches with the greenery of the college. The college provides WiFi connections, but you should know the passwords of each side. Otherwise, if a student is using phone data, then it would be very difficult to use the internet inside the college building. The furniture of the classrooms is fine but it is quite poor for some classrooms. The library of the college is definitely to be explored; it contains books from a variety of comics to competitive exams. The canteen of the college is also good but sometimes the food service is poor. There is a lot of crowd during the lunch break and students find barely a space to stand, but the food quality and quantity are good. The medical room of the college is also fine and opens daily from 8 a.m. until college hours. Kamala Nehru College does not provide hostel facilities, but students can find affordable PGs around it easily.
Faculty: The ratio of faculty and students is fair. The faculty of the college is very cooperative towards their students. They have a very friendly nature that makes every student comfortable accessing them easily. Kamala Nehru College provides academic courses that are very suitable if a student wants to make a career in government or civil services. The three-year course is divided into 6 semesters (1 year = 2 semesters) and each semester there are different exams; the difficulty level of the college is not much and can be completed easily by the students in the stipulated time. The college has a CGPA system and the minimum pass CGPA is above 5 .
Other: The college also has many societies for student overall growth and development. Students who want to make a career in defense can be part of KNC NCC. This was the main reason I joined Kamala Nehru, as it provides the best mentor for the math subject and provides an opportunity for girls to join NCC. The crowd of the college is not very high but also not very low; it's moderate. There are lots of festivals organized in the college, like the Winter Carnival, one of the biggest festivals, which is always theme-based. The college also gives many scholarship opportunities, like I was part of the Inspire scholarship and received 1,20,000 rupees in my first year on a merit basis.

Great library and canteen, good extracurricular and average faculty.
Placements: Many renowned companies come for placements like ICICI, Byjus, Nestle etc. With average packages of 5 lacs and the highest package of 10 lacs, around 75 percent of the final year students were placed in their final year. B.Sc. Math students were mainly recruited in the roles of bank managers and data analysts.
Infrastructure: Library at KNC is said to be it's heart with an infrastructure of three storey building and a collection of Vast variety of books. Canteen is fantastic and the food is delicious. 3 Computer labs are available within campus. Basketball, cricket and volleyball grounds are available for all students to use. Wifii is not so good.
Faculty: The faculty is good. But if you are looking for a nerdy and scientific environment, this is not the place for you. KNC is an arts college with only Maths as a Science subject. The exams are the right amount of difficult and the passing percentage is 40 percent.

Satisfied with the faculty. Placements are really good, infrastructure is worth enjoying.
Placements: There are a lot of students who got placed through the college, but in my course many students go for Master's or MBA. Generally, the startup companies conduct the placements. So, the package offered is not very high. For a graduate, it's somewhat fair. Talking about the placements from our course, it was about 50%-60% last year, but again the reason was many of them opted for Master's degree. About 85% of students got internships in our course. The placement cell of our college is very active, and it is one of the best things I like about KNC. So, you don't have to worry about the internships. You will get internships in a variety of domains like data analyst, sales & marketing, finance (on priority), content writing, blogging, business analyst, in NGOs (social work), SEO, and many more.
Infrastructure: So, the infrastructure is medium. I would not claim that it's wonderful but yes, it is not below average. We have 3 labs in the college. The library is awesome. We have one of the best libraries in the whole Delhi University. We have the facility of Wi-Fi but due to various factors, the network is quite poor in the area. There is no hostel in KNC. The food in the canteen is above average, but it's okay. We have a gym room, a big ground, medical room with 3 bed facility and a lot of facilities are available.
Faculty: We have the best faculty in KNC. Teachers are very helpful here. They became your friend when need and sometimes guide you as parents. We have the best curriculum in the whole country compared to any other university. It provides all round development in students. I'm from Maths hons., and the syllabus comprises of pure Maths subjects plus analytical subjects. There are also many software like mathematics, R software, Latex etc., which makes the syllabus most relevant. Semester exams have medium level, although the paper is set by the university, I find it quite good. Talking about the pass percentage, it was 100% in the last semester.
Other: Everything happens in KNC whether it is fest, societies, extracurricular activities to undergraduate research (worth mentioning).

Proud to be a KNCian!
Placements: Only the students who completed 5 semesters are eligible for the campus placements. Private companies come to take interview for the jobs. Interview in the form of group discussions or personal interviews take place. There is a placement cell of the college named as Prospicio that aims at providing students with training and professional opportunities during their academic year. The recruiters include- Ernst and Young, Google, IACT Global, Protivity, Oberoi Group of Hotels, Zomato, Rio Into, and IBN7. Students are placed in some companies like Wipro and Tresvista etc. The average salary package for the year seems to be approximately INR 3,50,000 for all profiles, with the highest pay being offered by Tresvista of 6 LPA. A lot many companies and organisations hire students as an intern for various roles such as research associate, sales and marketing, human resource, content writing, marketing, graphic designer, digital marketing web development, blogging etc. Summer internships are unpaid with the certificate and letter of recommendation as well some are paid with stipend ranging from INR 5,000 to INR 12,000. Internships help students to enhance their skills.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is so good. Our college has a huge library that contains more than lacs of books and journals and a large playground for sports like basketball, volleyball, cricket. Also our college has facilities of Wi-Fi shuttle service medical and gym. Moreover it has one of the best cafeterias with salt delicious food from what I have heard. The most attractive place of the college is chaupal where all of the nukkad nataks and all stage performances takes place. The library is fully and properly maintained and clean. There is not any hostel for this college instead you can take a PG near by the college and reside there you are not from Delhi or NCR.
Faculty: The faculty members of all the departments are highly qualified and well trained. They are very much understanding, supportive and helpful in nature. All the faculty members are scholars with Ph.D. from top universities in India. The exams are held at the end of each semester every year. As when I got admission in DU the classes are held in online mode and so are the exams they were taken in OBE mode. Total 4 hours are given for each paper that time pattern is divided in the manner of 3 + 1 hours that is 3 hours for writing and one hour for downloading paper and uploading of answer sheets. The course curriculum is very relevant. The passing percentage is 33% as there in every other universities. The exams are not very much difficult was to pass there like average student can easily pass the exam if they study on a daily basis.
Other: I chose B.Sc. honours mathematics because I want to study something interesting, invigorating and challenging. Also I wanted to improve my problem solving and reasoning skills. According to me it provides someone the opportunity to deal with real world problems. There are innumerable fests that would be conducted every year. Because of this there are lots and lots of opportunities for the students to show their talent. The college has several societies that work to instill value awareness and a sense of social responsibility and community orientation. In this course there is equal importance of extra curricular activities so the students are able to shine both in studies and they are extra curricular.

Review of Kamala Nehru College, University of Delhi.
Placements: This college is one of the prestigious colleges on south campus of the university of Delhi. It was primarily an arts college, so the on-campus placements stand near the average line. But a graduate in mathematics can always go for off-campus placements expecting a package of approximately 4 LPA. The college had its placements cell which were very helpful in shaping students' personality to find a job easily. They also inform students about the upcoming internships.
Infrastructure: This college had a two-floor library, three computer laboratories with well air conditioning, and digital classrooms. The campus had a free Wi-Fi facility. But there was no hostel facility available. Teachers and seniors will help students in finding good hostels or paying guests nearby.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful in academics or non-academics. They were all very polite and knowledgeable. Curriculum was relevant if students desires to go for higher studies. Passing semester exams were a piece of cake under teachers' guidance. They make students practice so much that failing in exams was next to impossible.
