All about Hindu College, DU.
Placements: Out of a batch of 70 students, more than 60 percent were placed and those who were not placed wanted to study further so they didnt apply. The average package of my course is 15 lpa; the highest is close to 29 lpa. Top recruiting companies hire from our college.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is in the canteen only and the signal is quite weak inside the college. The classrooms are spacious and very neat. The infrastructure is really diverse and beautiful. The campus is really nice. The labs are provided with all the equipment students need for their courses.
Faculty: The course curriculum for my course is really tough. The practicals are a lot difficult. The class frequency is good. The exams are full of theorems, which are not really important in applications, which is the main thing for course so overall, the exams are tough.
Other: I love math, so I chose this course. Now some people will say that you could have chosen to do a degree in math itself but by choosing statistics, you have a lot more options that include math and others, so my future is secure because of statistics as my major.

One of the top colleges of India. Always consider it in your preference list.
Placements: The placement rate at Hindu College and in our course is high. Around 70% of students get placed just after completing there graduation. The lowest is around 3 lakhs, the median package is around 9 lakhs, and the highest is 22 lakhs. Most of the companies visit the campus.
Infrastructure: Hindu College has the best infrastructure. It has the biggest college area in all of DU. But boys hostel is the worst part. It has been around 3 years and the boys hostel is under construction. Sports facilities are one of the best things about Hindu College.
Faculty: The professors are so helpful and kind that you don't feel the difference between students and teachers. Talking about the B.Sc. hons course, this is not so popular, but believe me, this course is going to boom in the future. Semester exams are not so difficult and the passing percentage is around 33%.

Some golden moments of life. I mean to say life in Hindu college.
Placements: I am student of B.Sc. Statistics hons. In Hindu College. I will complete my degree in 2024. A very low percentage of student can opt. For placement here because most students choose Masters from IIT and other colleges. But If you want a campus placement then u can do it easily in Hindu college. The companies like Cred Ancessure etc. Recurit students.
Infrastructure: This college give u very good vibe of infrastructure. Because many north campus colleges are famous for their old infrastructure because these colleges are old but with old building this college have a new building with new labs, AC classrooms. A lift is also present in it. And the girl hostle is just awesome.
Faculty: Actually I will tell u truth of colleges and truth about the studies. Teachers in colleges are not like teachers in school. They will teach u about the course, syllabus and all but u will focus on your studies from ir own. Because there are no foundation for attend classes or not. But the teachers in Himdu college are well qualified and having experience around minimum 10 years.
Other: This is the best college in nirf ranking of all over india. And my college life is just awesome in hindu college. But to take admission in hindu college u work hard for it because for admission there is a entrance CUET.

It was a good college with best facilities and infrastructure.
Placements: About 500 students had been placed in the statistics course. The highest salary offered was about Rs.35,000 per month, the lowest salary offered was Rs.15,000 per month, and the average salary offered was Rs.25,000 per month. Jio was the top company that recruited most of the students. More emphasis was given to graph representation.
Infrastructure: The Hindu College, Delhi had the best infrastructure and facilities with a Wi-Fi connection for students and labs for every course. There were clean and attractive classrooms and a library with about nearly 10,000 books. The canteen had the food of 5 star level and medical facilities were much better than government hospitals.
Faculty: The teachers in our college were very helpful. All were qualified and full of knowledge except a few. The sports teacher was the best example of fitness and energy. The course was little relevant as per the students mind. But it made the students ready to perform best in any field. Semester exams were very easy. The passing percentage was 35%.
Other: I chose the course as it opens many ways to be chosen for a job and gives a better opportunity to be engaged every time. I have to say to improve the course by adding modern topics to the syllabus. Events are held on every weekend to keep the students active.

Great library and amazing faculty members.
Placements: 60% of students were placed in my course. Many chose to study further ( M.Sc. from DU or MS from abroad). Many decided to do the job after Bachelors. The highest package - 14L; the lowest package - 4.5L; Average package - 9,25,000 Brain, Delloite, WTW, and many more visited the campus for recruitment.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, we have our lab. There is mess in our hostel and a huge ground beside it. There is an entertainment room in the hostel with TV and indoor games facilities. Library of our college is great, I love the collection they have there.
Faculty: Teachers are great (except some), very helpful, knowledgeable, very dedicated towards their students and their profession. Do not miss even a single lecture as this is a really difficult course. The course curriculum is good but there is always room for betterment and improvement.
Other: There is a high demand for this course everywhere in the world in every field. Curriculum can be improved reasonably like they can teach C+ instead of C.

Q:   Is BSc and BSc (Hons) admission at DU (Hindu College) entrance based?

A:

Hindu College admission to all the programmes is entrance-based. While the college accepts CUET UG exam for admission to its UG courses, such as BA, BSc and BCom, admission to all the postgraduate programmes is based on the scores obtained by students in the CUET- PG exam (starting admission 2023). The institute along with DU started accepting CUET UG from 2022 onward and the CUET PG from the 2023 session onward. Before this, admission to UG was subject to merit scores obtained by the students in Class 12 and PG admission was mostly subject to DUET exam previously conducted by DU. However, the university still accepts ECA quota admissions.

Yes, you can apply for DU admission 2019 in B. Com under a regular/general category. But getting admission in DU colleges with 75% under Regular/General category can be a little difficult as the least cut off that most colleges accept is only till 84%.
