Good college for Chemical engineering Diploma. There are good placements.

Placements: In chemical engineering branch of KK Wagh Polytechnic, there was a 100% placement rate. The highest package was around 4.2 Lacs by L&T. Average package is 2.5 Lacs. Top recruiting companies are JSW steel, L&T and Aarti industries, etc. Students go in any company for internship by sending request letter via college. Internship is a part of curriculum.

Infrastructure: There is Wi-fi available in our department. Classroom infrastructure is also good and there is a big library in our department. Hostel facilities are also good. Food menu is good in hostel and canteen too. College arranges many sports tournaments like cricket and football.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to us; many have Ph.D. degree. They have good teaching quality. Teachers will help you in major projects also. Curriculum of Diploma Chemical engineering is good and relevant. Semester Exam is not much difficult. Pass percentage is around 70-80%.

This college is a good choice for education.

Placements: I was from the 2021 batch of a diploma in chemical engineering. The highest placement rate was between 80% to 96%. The highest salary package offered ranges between 4.5 LPA to 5 LPA. Companies which recruited students were JSW Steel, Oil Corporation India, etc. Around 70% to 90% of students got internships in JSW and Godrej.

Infrastructure: There is a college Wi-Fi for the department and college also. There are separate labs for every department. There are nice and clean classrooms with proper ventilation. The library has more than 40,000 books. The hostel has day-to-day biometric attendance, and also teachers pay attendance. The mess is good and affordable with proper sitting arrangements. There is a first-aid kit in every classroom and laboratory. Our college has a huge ground where cricket and football matches are held.

Faculty: The teachers here are helpful enough and have friendly nature. The HOD of the department and one teacher have pursued PhD. All teachers have good knowledge and are simple but provide effective teaching. Our college provides an industrial visit and training, which definitely makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not very difficult if you study under teachers' guidance. The pass percentage is 34%.

Other: Students are also friendly to each other and with outer state students also. College fest, days and cultural activities are held. Scholarships are available for caste, PWD and needy students.
