Absolutely satisfied: the teachers and infrastructure is great.

Placements: In MBBS we don't judge by placements but by the number of students who could clear NEET PG or USMLE. The number of students clearing USMLE are one of the highest in the country. The number of people who have cleared NEET PG are also good. We are taught in such a way that these competitive scans can be easily cracked.

Satisfied with the faculty and the facilities provided.

Placements: Most of the seniors didn't go for jobs as they want to prepare for postgraduation. Whoever tried for jobs, they got the good ones. Mostly, all the students do the internship here as the hospital is known for excellent staff and doctors. Doing internship here is very useful as you get vast knowledge from patients who come from different parts of the world.

KMC, Manipal, the best medical college in the county.

Placements: As in MBBS, there are no placement opportunities. Rather many students are going for USMLE and Indian PG. They are cracking these exams with ease. We have very good alumni groups working all over the world. We get the stipend of Rs. 20,000 during our internship period.

The best place to study in India. Awesome place with awesome climate and environment.

Placements: The college has the best placements across the country. Most of our seniors are working for big hospitals in the country as well as in the USA and other abroad countries. After all, one the best college in India. The faculty is well qualified. Lots of selections in NEET PG as well as in USMLE, PLAB, etc., are there. The demand for graduates from KMC is also high across the country.

Review of KMC - Kasturba Medical College, Manipal.

Placements: KMC Manipal has consistently produced some of the most impressive placement figures over the past decades. It has tie-ups with various universities in Europe and America, wherein it becomes much easier for students to get into postgraduate courses in western countries. This is an undergraduate course, and in the medical field, nobody opts for just being an MBBS doctor anymore. Salaries cannot be stated as it is usually followed up by a PG course. Usually, almost 100 out of the batch of 250 stude...

Manipal University is a top private medical university in India-definitely recommended.

Placements: Manipal University is one of the topmost private medical universities in India. Teaching here is of a high standard which will definitely get you a good job opportunity after passing out. I myself got a good senior resident job followed by getting selected in fellowship course of neonatology based on the knowledge that I acquired at Manipal University. Many of my friends got good jobs at foreign universities as well with good packages. Definitely recommended to all. ...

This is the best place in the country to learn and practice medicine. The environment not only helps you to be good in academics but also in the curricular activities. It gives a good platform to do research at undergraduate level. Teachers and other staff members are very much helpful. Labs and hospitals are well equipped with world class equipment. A good patient load is present in the hospital. The only thing you might face difficulty in is the local language. You need to learn the local ...

This review is about the Mangalore campus. Very good college in all aspects, be it studies or extra curriculum life. It has a very good reputation among Indians as well as abroad. The faculty is outstanding. Clinical studies are very good. No doubt, it is a fine institution. It’s really very difficult to crack the MAHE exam.

I feel really great to have a campus life at "Manipal University's" "Kasturba Medical College". I graduated from here in 2014 and of course I'm enjoying a well-settled life (I'm a Cardiovascular specialist, thanks to the Placement Cell). I heard a lot from my nearest and dearest ones regarding the University. But trust me, it’s really a heaven for meritorious students. Secured future of their pupil is their main task. It has world class amenities lectures relevant to the topics only. It’s a bi...

It is one of the greatest places to learn orthopedics, with great teachers and pioneers to help you succeed in your life. The campus life for the residents was excellent. Very good case load and easy learning. The academics were very excellent and people wanted to continue working in the environment if you are workaholic.

Kasturba Medical College is a magnificent college located in the hilly areas of Manipal under Udupi district of Karnataka. As a medical profession, understanding the concept and in-depth knowledge is a must for all subjects and KMC excels in both the fields with excellent and reputed teachers, comfortable AC classes and practical labs. The best part about teaching is regular classes. Hostel accommodation is superb with good canteen and mess. The hospital is at par with international standards an...

I have a satisfactory experience.

Placements: It is a professional course, so it all depends on the ranking we get in our PG entrance examination. All the students have to complete a rotatory internship. We get a degree of MBBS on completion. Mostly the admissions were held through the AIQ ranks and on merit basis.

Wonderfully satisfied and suprised with the faculty.

Placements: 1. The placement varies. Placement in MBBS could just be students getting PG seats. Usually 50-60% secure a PG seat in the first attempt. 2. Salary depends on the individual university chosen for PG. The lowest salary offered ranges from 15,000 to 35,000 and the average is 20,000. PG in abroad universities offers around 2,00,000. 3. No recruitments as such, securing a PG seat is the way to go. 4. Internship (in the university itself) after the course will get you 20,000/- pm. 6. Internship in MB...

KMC- Nurturing minds and talent since 1953.

Placements: As it's a medical college we have internships instead of placements and Almost all the students who passed the final year with decent marks got into good credible internships. Apart from that our college itself has affiliations with 2 government hospitals and has a practicing hospitals of it's own which itself provides us with excellent education.
