Placement cell will provide placement training separately to every student, and they conduct mock interviews too, which is useful to students for giving interviews. For our batch (2016), more than 50 companies visited our college for on-campus recruitment.

Kongu Engineering College.

Placements: No placements in this waste college. Only IT company jobs that too can't believe when we will get the offer letter. I have been personally hurted due to this. We can't expect Mechanical Core companies. Please don't prefer this college as they get extra fees for placement.

Satisfied with placements and with infrastructure but curriculum has to modified according to studen

Placements: Frankly nowadays IT companies ready to hire only few freshers with high technical skills. Due to automation everywhere they recruit only less number of people. Regarding placements in KONGU its far better than many other colleges. Currently more than 90 companies coming for recruitment. The highest package is given by amazon 27lak per annum. One guy placed in amazon this year. Yes, there is a placement cell. They take care of each and every students.

More than 60% of the eligible students have got a job this year. Average salary offered was around 1,20,000 per annum. The placement cell is very active in this college. The college also offered internship to many students in different companies.

Placements: The placements where good they organised it in a proper way. I got placed in Accenture. But only few core companies came into picture. Overall it's good when compared to other colleges in terms of placements. You just need to ensure before joining how the previous year placements where and then one had get into this organisation.
