    Genuine college review of KMIT.
Placements: As we all know, due to recession most of the colleges are suffering with decreased placement states. While the skilled is placed anywhere anytime, those who depend on-campus placements are finding it hard to be placed. But the resources provided at this college for improving our skills are top-notch.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite disappointing and it does not provide any hostel facilities. Bus facility is available for students. The campus is small and contains canteen (vegetarian food only). Sports are available during/after college hours. Medical emergency facility is available. Wi-Fi is available with limitations. Labs and library are properly equipped.
Faculty: Teachers provide sources, and students should explore more. In any college students should not depend completely on faculty members, they should start with their own skills and ideas. Coming to our college teaching, it is quite good. But faculty members are not top-notch and also not inexperienced. They do have lot of knowledge in their fields.
Other: Keshav Memorial Institute of Technology is known for its specialisation in computer science field, as this college only has CSE and related courses (doesn't have electronics and other courses). This college provides lots of time to develop skills and also allows students to participate in Hackathons, and code quests within/outside this college. Coming to events, it is a big disappointment as it does not have a big campus. There are 3 events per year, one for Sankranti, one for KMIT (annual event), and one for Navratri (the only good event in college).

I would like to say, that the student life at KMIT is awesome.
Placements: The college offers many courses in which students are really interested. They have different courses like AI, machine learning, data science, information technology, and a lot more. Many students opt for this college as they have a plan towards students futures by which the people are really impressed. Most students get placed in reputed companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and a lot more. They provide sections like project school and finishing school by which they can differentiate people by their skills and activities and their creativity. The college always maintains the best placement records compared to others.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and tempting. They have many facilities like a library, a sports area, play courts like a badminton court, a basketball court, a volleyball court, and a lot more. It highlights its modern facilities, well-equipped labs, a spacious campus full of greenery, and a central location within the city, with a canteen having good food. Even though people complain about the campus area being a bit small.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The exam structure is rigorous, with full focus on conceptual understanding concepts. The faculty tries to help students to study more effectively. They highlight their expertise in this field. They are dedicated to teaching. The exams are challenging and designed to assess deep understanding of the subject matter, which can sometimes be very strict. They conduct assignments, projects, quizzes, and a lot more, which helps students gain their creativity through the entire semester.

    Dissatisfied by the campus life.
Placements: Almost everyone gets placed, whether it is for 3 LPA or 10 LPA, with an average of 7 LPA. Last year, 80% of students got placed. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Accenture, and TCS, with roles like data analyst and software developer offered in my college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that great. There are libraries and labs, but there is no free Wi-Fi, and there are no hostel facilities in our college. The canteen is pretty good, but sports are not much encouraged in our college, and medical facilities are nil. There is a police station beside our campus.
Faculty: The course is pretty difficult, with passing marks at 21/60. This course doesn't make students industry-ready; we obviously need to learn other skills to get a job for ourselves. The curriculum is really old, and we refer to outdated technologies and bare minimum standards.

Absolutely good for placements. I assure that this will be the right place for a bright future.
Placements: Nearly 1500 students joined along with me in the same course. Virtusa, Micron, etc., are the top recruiting companies for our course. Many students got placed, recently 2 students got placed in Tech Mahindra with a 13 Lacs package. That will make me not think about how the future will be.
Infrastructure: We don't have hostel facility on the same campus where I am studying. I will stay in a PG near my college. In that, I don't have quality food, proper amenities, etc. In the hostel, we have a Wi-Fi facility. According to the maintenance, it is not that much good. In college, we have a canteen with only veg services and also sports and games.
Faculty: Till now, we didn't write any semester exams, but we wrote mid-semester exams, which will be just like semester exams. There will be 2 sessions for mid-semester examinations, and after 2-3 days, we will have lab externals. We will get to know how these exams will be. After lab externals, we have semester examinations.
Other: We have very few events and fests in our college. Connections will be very few. As we are freshers to college, we don't know anyone except our class people.

    Our college has great placements.
Placements: Many students get placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 2.7 crore per annum. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Students should maintain a minimum of 80-90% to enter project school or internships as per companies. The top roles offered are CSE and CSM.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure and very great. Wi-Fi is available in the college. There are good classrooms but there is no air-conditioner. The library has plenty of book collections. There is no hostel for the college. There is a mess facility for afternoon meals only.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are very friendly with every student. It also depends on our behavior if we are good, give respect, and follow the instructions of teachers, then they will give the same, or else they become the opposite.
Other: I chose this course for my personal reasons as I love to study robots and I love them. I like coding and the campus is very friendly. We can take any kind of help from seniors. Scholarships are available. Surroundings and extracurricular activities are so good.

    College is good for placements.
Placements: Placement-oriented college. Our college had average placements in recent years. Our college provides good placement opportunities for students.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility is not available. College. Our college doesn't have a great infrastructure. Campus and canteen are quite small. One should not expect a great campus experience from our college, because it is in the heart of the city.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready after graduation. Examinations are not too easy and not too tough to pass. Pass percentage is high.
